Book Review: Dad Disasters When Dads Go Bad by Ian Allen

This is a book for all dads whether he’s just about to become one, a newbie dad or has been one for a long time. It’s full of stories from around the world, illustrating the disastrous situations dads have created. It contains stories from famous dads and ordinary dads and of course the book has plenty of dad humour and dad jokes!

Dad Disasters is full of examples of real dads making ridiculous mistakes, big errors of judgement and a complete fool of themselves. You’ll find everything from fashion disasters to family planning problems and technology mistakes…

The book would be very suitable as a Father’s Day gift but we’ve just missed that. It will still be around next year though and it would work for birthdays or Christmas too.

I like that you can just dip in and out of the book and read a few sections or stories when you have some time, then get back to the book another day when it suits you. It can also work like a coffee table book for guests to flick through or have a little read from when visiting while you make the tea for example. There are loads of illustrations in the book too and no two pages look the same.
