Kids love seeing their favourite characters on all sorts of things so why not on ice creams too?Cartoon Ice Lollies Review – Peppa Pig, Frozen, Star Wars & Minions A Mum Reviews

There’s a range of fun cartoon ice cream lollies with the following characters:

  • Peppa Pig – Strawberry
  • Olaf from Frozen – Vanilla, Chocolate & Strawberry
  • Stormtroopers from Star Wars – Vanilla & Chocolate
  • Yoda from Star Wars – Vanilla, Chocolate & Strawberry
  • Minions – Raspberry & Vanilla

The range features ice creams that have added calcium to help strengthen bones, with 30% less sugar than standard ice creams and no artificial flavours, colours and preservatives.Cartoon Ice Lollies Review – Peppa Pig, Frozen, Star Wars & Minions A Mum Reviews

My girls loved their Peppa Pig ice lollies and I was happy to see they’re less bright red in real life compared to the packaging they’re more of a natural shade of strawberry pink. The girls were so excited to eat their favourite character! They’re available from Aldi in packs of 4 with an RRP of £1. I found them in Asda too in packs of 6.

The strawberry flavour was nice and the ice cream creamy. I was a bit surprised to see gelatine on the list of ingredients though so definitely check the ingredients list of you are a vegetarian.Cartoon Ice Lollies Review – Peppa Pig, Frozen, Star Wars & Minions A Mum Reviews

We also picked up the Olaf Iced Lollies and Storm Trooper Iced Lollies from Morrisons (RRP £2.00) but unfortunately, we couldn’t eat them as they had defrosted and been refrozen. This was completely Morrisons’ fault though so nothing to do with the ice cream brand.Cartoon Ice Lollies Review – Peppa Pig, Frozen, Star Wars & Minions A Mum Reviews

The Storm Trooper ones and the Yoda ones are also available from Aldi, RRP £1.00. I’ve not spotted the Minion ones anywhere yet but they’re supposed to be stocked in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and The Co-operative and have an RRP of £2.00 for 6 lollies.

We were sent vouchers to buy some samples with. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
