We’ve not even seen Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory yet as my toddler is too young for the cinema but we have seen Finding Nemo about 47,343 times in the past couple of months and it’s definitely my 2 and a half year-old’s favourite film. She loves the bright colours and cute characters! We have the ZURU’s ROBOFish Finding Dory toys and they are played with every day and we watch Finding Nemo several times every week.

We’re very excited that Finding Dory is out in the cinema now and we can’t wait for it to be available on DVD so that we can enjoy it together at home and watch it over and over again.

As we’re waiting for the Finding Dory DVD release (November 15!), we are reading the wonderful Disney Pixar Finding Dory Essential Guide (hardcover) from DK Books to learn more about the characters and the film.

The guide has lots of fun information about the new tale and is the perfect partner to the film. It covers all the new memorable characters like Destiny, Hank and Bailey plus old favourites like Marlin, Nemo and Dory. The book has all the key locations, themes and iconic moments from the movie. My daughter loves it and it has got her really excited about the new film!

Like most young children, my toddler loves stickers and has been quite obsessed with them since she discovered them a year ago. She loves to have stickers with the themes of her favourite characters from books, TV and films and since Dory and Nemo are her big favourites at the moment, this sticker book is perfect for her. It has over 150 stickers and is a must-have for every fan of Finding Dory and Finding Nemo. The stickers have set places in the book and there are extra stickers too. The selection is lovely and there are plenty of really large stickers of different shapes plus lots of smaller ones too.

The two paperback books come in a gorgeous sturdy presentation case with a front with clear parts and lights to light these parts up to reveal a sparkling coral reef when you press the button on the front of the cover. This is a lovely detail that makes the case extra special. It looks great in the dark especially but lovely in daylight too.
