Waffles are one of my favourite treats and I’d been looking for a new one for quite some time before coming across the Global Gourmet American Waffle Maker. I had been looking for a Scandinavian type machine but I love American waffles too so I thought I’d give this one a go.

It’s an electric stainless-steel waffle maker with non-stick coating that makes traditional deep American waffles. The iron provides even heat distribution and is really easy to use thanks to the variable temperature settings to ensure the cooking/browning that you desire.

The 700W waffle maker heats up really quickly and is easy to clean too since nothing sticks to the plates. The light indicators are very convenient too as they show when the machine has reached the ideal temperature.

The waffle maker is compact and even has a cord-wrap included for easy storage.

With your machine, you also get a bunch of recipe ideas for waffles of all kinds including gluten-free ones and falafel waffles!

I’ve used the waffle maker a handful of times now and am still learning to add just the right amount of batter to make a perfect waffle. I always put just a bit too little in but that’s better than too much as it will be messier to clean if it overflows.

I’m really pleased with the waffles that this machine makes and my nearly 4-year-old exclaimed that they were the best waffles ever so she approves too!
