My youngest, most shoe obsessed, daughter has some brand new winter boots which is just what she needed. When my eldest was her age/size, we borrowed some boots for her so we didn’t have any waiting for our youngest this winter. It’s a nice treat for Baby No 2 when she gets something new as subsequent children often get mainly hand-me-downs. Footwear is an extra special treat as well as our toddler loves shoes so much!
These new shoes, well boots actually, are from Jake Shoes and are the Bogs Kids Classic Boots (£42.50) with a bright turquoise stripe design with a gorgeous retro floral print in contrasting magenta pink. They look amazing and my daugther loves them.
They have a Neoprene Upper (3mm Neo-Tech™ insulation) which makes them 100% waterproof and a really cosy, plush wool lining to keep little feet comfortable and warm even in very cold conditions.
They’re really easy to put on thanks to the Velcro-opening at the back that makes it easy to slip the foot in and pull-on (or carry) handles to pull them on. My toddler is 19 months old and she can put them on and take them off herself which is great.
These lovely and gorgeous boots seem so comfortable for my little girl and she can move in them very well. They’re all so flexible and soft enough to wear in the pushchair when she’s not walking but I still want her to wear boots to stay warm. The soles are non-slip for a good grip when running around. This is another essential thing for me as my kids rarely sit still…
One thing that’s very special about the Bogs boots is that they can be washed in the washing machine! This is so useful after a day of jumping in muddy puddles!
There’s a lovely selection of fun designs of Bogs boots for babies and kids (and adults too!) available from Jake Shoes. See them all here.

We were sent these boots for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I'm a mum in my late twenties with over 15 years of childcare experience working as a private nanny, babysitter and a few years as a nursery teacher. I am also an approved foster carer and now I've got my own family too! I love finding great items for babies, children and mums.
