Shnooks Review – Bubble to Best Friend Plush Toys

ZURU’s Shnooks were first launched back in 2008 and was the first toy to combine plush and hair play and remained a consistent top-selling toy. Now it’s available again, ready to capture the imaginations of a new generation with a relaunch of a range of colourful and cute Shnooks.

The characters are brand new and there’s even a supporting TV-series. The TV-series will be a 26 episode, 7-minute long, show that will be distributed worldwide from December this year.

Another new aspect is the very cook bubble pack packaging. The Shnooks come in a vacuum bubble and when you open it they grow eight times their size!

My girls loved watching them grow from pretty much flat toys to three dimensional characters.

When you pop the bubble/open the packaging, you take the Shnooks out and shake it and fluff it up to full size. Then it’s ready to be played with and cuddled with. The fluffy hair is fun to style and definitely needs a lot of combing!

These are more aimed at girls than the toys I usually buy. I mainly choose more gender-neutral toys. The girls love them though and I think the flat-packed aspect and the fluffy fun hair is what they love the most.

I really like the packaging and because it’s so flat it makes a great toy to send to someone in the post without having to pay lots for postage.

There are six characters (Shmiley, Shnuggles, Shine, Shweetly, Shazam and Sheebah) to collect and they have an RRP of £7.99 each.
