Starting Online Pregnancy Pilates With Dr. Joanna Helcké

Everybody who knows me well, knows that I’m not a big fan of exercising. I’ve tried lots of different things in the past and other than walking and swimming, there have ever only been two types of physical activities that I’ve liked enough to do regularly boxing (no contact) and pilates. I’ve not done any of these for over 10 years though! Last time I did regular exercise that’s not walking and running after kids, I was a teenager and in my adult life I’ve just not done any organised exercise.

I’m still quite well and at a healthy weight due to eating a balanced diet and being relatively active in my day-to-day life but I feel that I could benefit from some strengthening exercises, especially now that I’m pregnant again. Pilates is a great form of exercise to strengthen, stretch and tone your body and you can do it all from the comfort of your home by using a Pilates machine or Pilates mat.

When you are pregnant, you need to be careful with which exercises you do since they’re not all recommended for pregnancy. That’s why I’m so happy to have come across the Dr. Joanna Helcké Pregnancy Pilates Programme because it’s completely tailored to your stage of pregnancy so you know that all the exercises are safe to do.

The programme is an online fitness subscription service that has been designed especially for pregnant women and new mums by the award-winning pregnancy and postnatal fitness expert Dr. Joanna Helcké. It’s a unique product that allows the users to access an expertly designed week by week pregnancy or postnatal fitness programme that is tailored to support the current stage they’re in.Starting Online Pregnancy Pilates With Dr. Joanna Helcké A Mum Reviews

Each week, the personalised membership delivers a video with a new exercise routine for that stage of their journey to motherhood. You can join early in your pregnancy, at the end or after you’ve had your baby and can be sure to get the support you need at that specific time. Videos are available from week 14 of pregnancy to 26 weeks after you’ve had your baby so the exercises will take you through pregnancy and help you get strong after the birth too.

As well as the videos, you’ll also receive a weekly to-do list with useful extra information, for example back pain exercises, mummy tummy workouts, recipes or dietary quizzes. You also have access to the weekly forum where you can ask guest experts questions and chat to other mums who are using the programme. You can also chat to other users in the closed Facebook group.

Dr. Joanna Helcké herself is very present in the programme with her weekly newsletters and her Mumday Monday blogs and you can even email her directly with any personal questions that you may have.

I’m just getting started with my 3-month subscription. I started when I was 22 weeks pregnant and am now two weeks in, ready to do my third week’s exercise video this week. I’ll keep you posted with more information from Dr. Joanna Helcké and a full review of the service at the end of my subscription just before I have my baby probably!

Sign up for your FREE two week trial of the programme to try it yourself.

I’ve been given access to the Online Pregnancy Pilates With Dr. Joanna Helcké Programme to review it. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own. Contains a sponsored link.
