Tickled Pink Fancy Dress Deluxe Miss Santa Costume Review

Dressing up as Santa is not just for men. This year, I’m dressing up as Miss, well Mrs, Santa in this fun fancy dress costume from Tickled Pink. Fancy dress doesn’t have to be cheap and tacky — you can get affordable, good quality pieces and style them yourself to fit you and your fashion taste.

The Deluxe Miss Santa Costume includes a red short dress with white fluffy trim, a cape and a santa hat. It’s quite a sexy outfit that can be styled in that way with high heeled shoes and stockings or in more covered up ways depending on the event and your personal preference.

The red material is a velvet look polyester and the trims are nice and fluffy. The dress is fitted on top and quite low cut. The skirt bit is wide and really short on its own. The tube style dress has a zip on the back and is easy to put on and get out off witout needing any help. The mini cape is a nice touch as it covers your shoulders and looks very cute.

I wanted to create a more modest look for a family party and styled the outfit with a white long sleeved lace top and a knee-length fluffy tulle skirt — both items are from my wedding outfit. The white looks nice and Christmassy with the red and the lace and the tulle are great materials to go with the red velvet. To go with the clothes, I chose black opaque tights and my black ankle boots from Hush Puppies. I’m very happy with the look and the way I could customise it to suit my style.

I’m usually a size Small but since I’m 18 weeks pregnant and have started to show now, I opted for a size Medium to fit my growing baby bump.
