April 2019 TOPPBOX Men’s Grooming & Skincare Subscription
April has been and gone and we’re halfway through May already! Summer is just around the corner! As usual, I have a TOPPBOX to review for you and the April box was brilliant! I’ll share details of what was in it a bit further down.
If you’ve not heard of TOPPBOX yet, it’s a Men’s Grooming & Skincare Subscription Box that you get delivered to your home each month — or every second month or every third month, if you prefer. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Each month’s box contains 4-5 products from top brands. You usually get a mix of full-sized and travel sized products and the total value of each box is around £50-£70 but it only costs you £19 + postage. It’s a lovely way to try new skincare products in the comfort of your own home. Most items are quite unisex as well which I love as I’m using the products myself.
When you sign up, you personalise your TOPPBOX to receive products that are specifically chosen for your grooming needs. This is a good idea as we all have different preferences, skin types and needs and it takes less than 30 seconds to fill out the quick questionnaire about your age, style, skin type, facial hair/shaving needs and hair type plus any extra comment
Let’s have a look at the contents of the April TOPPBOX:
- ZEOS for Men QU3 Face Scrub (worth £7.95)
This is a creamy face scrub that naturally removes dead skin cells and dirt with coconut husk as a gentle exfoliator. The result is smooth and fresh skin! It also contains Vitamins E and B5 to improve your skin’s health. It’s gentle enough to be used 2-4 times a week.
- Seacret Pure Salt Body Exfoliator (worth £29.00)
Two scrubs! I love both facial scrubs and body scrubs so this is perfect for me. This one is a luxurious body scrub with coarse mineral salts to exfoliate your skin and remove any dead skin cells. It’s lovely to use in the shower! Simply put a bit of product in your palm and massage onto your damp skin until the salts dissolve. It leaves my skin smooth and soft!
- UpCircle Fennel & Cardamom Chai Soap Bar (worth £6.99)
This is an exfoliating and hydrating soap bar with green clay to remove toxins and shea butter to keep skin hydrated. The soap is made with residual chai spices used to create Henny & Joe’s chai syrup so it’s reusing a waste product which is brilliant! It smells lovely and feels great on my skin. It can be used on both face and body.
- Anatomicals Phwoar! Not Straw Restorative Avocado and Wheat Germ Hair Mask (worth £5.00)
I love Anatomicals great products and fun packaging! This is a rich hair mask packed with natural goodness from Avocado and Wheat Germ, both rich in Vitamin E to deeply hydrate dry and damaged hair and make is smooth again. It helps to protect your hair from UV damage too. The pouch contains enough product for up to 3 applications depending on the thickness and length of your hair.
- BARBER PRO Foaming Cleansing Mask (worth £4.95)
This is a self-foaming sheet mask that creates bubbles to give your skin a micro massage. It cleanses your skin of impurities with activated charcoal and AHA acids from fruit. It’s cleanses your pores and removes any excess oils from your skin. You apply the sheet to your face, let it foam for 10 minutes, then remove it and rinse your face.
What a great box! I love all the products from the April 2019 TOPPBOX but have to say that the salt scrub is my favourite. Get started with your TOPPBOX subscription here.
