Here in this guide, you’ll find some of the newest launches from Orchard Toys, Rainbow Designs, and tickit – brands that all make excellent products for babies and children. Read on to find some brilliant baby gifts!

Baby’s First Puzzles from Orchard Toys

Orchard Toys is most known for their colourful educational games and puzzles. The brand has now expanded its Baby & Toddler collection with some new fun products for younger children.

The new additions include six products for babies and toddlers, designed to support early development and encourage learning. From baby flashcards to match and feel puzzles to chunky wooden puzzles – little ones will love this cute range.

Here, you can see the Under the Sea Wooden Nesting Puzzle and Woodland Chunky Wooden Puzzle. These sweet wooden puzzles make ideal first puzzles for babies and toddlers.

The Under the Sea Wooden Nesting Puzzle features beautifully illustrated sea creatures. Each creature is a separate piece and nests inside the chunky board in size order. This beautiful puzzle encourages early developmental skills including hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and problem-solving.

The Woodland Chunky Wooden Puzzle features chunky, easy-to-hold wooden animal pieces: badger, fox, hedgehog, frog, deer, owl, and squirrel. This puzzle combines fun with learning and also encourages imaginative play as the animal pieces can be used as figurines too.

Both these puzzles are suitable from 1+ so great gifts for babies who are close to their first birthday.

Orchard Toys products are available at Orchardtoys.com, Amazon.co.uk and also from many other shops that sell toys.

Harry Potter Themed Everyday Essentials from Rainbow Designs

For parents who are fans of Harry Potter, the new Harry Potter Bib Set and Harry Potter Muslin Gift Set from Rainbow Designs are an excellent choice. They’ll love adding a little bit of Harry Potter magic to their baby’s earliest adventures!

Made in collaboration with Warner Bros., these sets combine everyday practicality with beautifully illustrated designs inspired by Harry Potter.

The bib set includes three super-soft absorbent bibs that feature illustrations of beloved characters from Harry Potter – Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Dobby. These bibs are great for dribbles, spills, and first meals.

The set of muslins includes three soft 100% breathable cotton muslins, featuring exclusive prints of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Hedwig and Dobby. They are delicate on delicate skin and very versatile. Muslins can be used for so many things – feeding, burping, swaddling, and much more. Very practical, and very cute!

The Harry Potter Bib Set and the Muslin Gift Set both come beautifully gift-boxed and are suitable from birth. They are available to purchase from Amazon.co.uk here.

Premium Sensory Toys from tickit

Last but not least, tickit have some new launches of premium sensory toys that support babies’ and toddlers’ early development through play. As well as being educational, tickit makes products with beautiful contemporary designs. Here, you can see some of the new products from the tickit SiliSoft Baby & Toddler Toy Range.

The tickit SiliSoft Curiosity Set (Black & White) is suitable from birth and includes a range of baby sensory and teething products, in black, white and neutral silicone.

The set includes:

• seven squashy stacking cups with holes in the base for scooping and pouring in the bath
• curiosity ball with tactile panels and a ball inside to create a jingly sound
• fidget rattle with sliding shapes and tactile features
• flower spinner with five petals and popping buttons
• rattle teether with different textures, colours and a removable wooden rattle

This high-contrast set encourages babies to explore through sight, touch and movement. The colourway has been chosen to stimulate babies’ developing vision during the early stages of their life. Newborns can see and process high-contrast patterns much easier.

Also from tickit is this SiliSoft Jumbo Spinner (Rainbow) which is the perfect first fidget toy. It’s a giant chunky silicone spinner with three colourful giant popping buttons and tactile features. It’s easy to operate and has a smooth and mesmerising spinning action. On the back, there’s a large suction base so that you can attach the spinner to smooth, clean surfaces such as tables, mirrors, trays, windows, or the bath, for example. It’s suitable for newborn babies and onwards.

The range also includes the tickit Silisoft Zip Pull Sensory Toy which is available in four colourways.

All SiliSoft products are made from premium food-grade silicone, are soft, durable, safe and easy to clean. They have been designed specifically for little hands and the collection encourages grasping, squeezing, stacking, sorting, spinning and open-ended exploration. These beautiful toys support sensory development, fine motor skills and early problem-solving through play.

You can find tickit toys available at tickit.co.uk and some are available via Amazon.co.uk too.
