Exciting news! Besa, the bold ready-to-drink (RTD) alcohol brand from the US and Australia, has now launched in the UK. As part of the UK launch, Besa has introduced the officially licensed Love Island x Besa Passionfruit Vodka Soda to the UK market. More about this below!

Besa’s RTD Cocktail Range

Besa’s range includes three flavours: Lime, Peach, and Passionfruit. The latter is the officially licensed Love Island RTD Cocktail which launched in Australia in October 2025 where it became the featured alcoholic drink on Season 7 of Love Island Australia.

All three flavours pack a punch with its 8% ABV, are low-calorie at just 110 calories per can, and contain zero added sugar. Additionally, the drinks from this female-founded premium RTD brand are flavoured with natural flavours.

I love cocktails – freshly made and ready-to-drink ones. RTD cocktails are great when you just fancy a couple of drinks or for enjoying with friends on trips or picnics. Hearing about Besa’s launch, I was excited to sample their officially licensed Love Island x Besa Passionfruit Vodka Soda.

Besa cocktails come in 250ml cans that you can enjoy at home or out with your friends. The brand’s focus is not on sweetness or masking any flavours. Instead, it’s on balance and creating drinks that are tasty and full of flavour while also keeping a clean formula. 

I think that Besa have done an amazing job creating these drinks that taste amazing while also not containing any added sugars or artificial flavourings. The Love Island x Besa Passionfruit Vodka Soda drinks are bursting with tropical flavour and are so refreshing too! They’re are especially delicious served ice cold. 

I love that these cocktails aren’t overly sweet like many RTD cocktail brands – the balance is perfect and the hint of sweetness is just right. They are not sickly at all which means you can enjoy several cans in one evening without feeling like you need to swap to something lighter. The fact that each drink offers a double vodka measure is great too – cocktails should be strong, in my opinion. 

Love Island x Besa Passionfruit Vodka Soda cocktails are great. The Lime and Peach flavours sound excellent too – I would love to try them in the future!
