Christmas Gift Idea – Personalised Photo Calendars From Snapfish
A gift that’s always fun to create and to receive is a personalised calendar with photos that are meaningful to the recipient. Plus they’re useful, too! Last year I created personalised photo calendars with Snapfish and I’ve done it again this year. Like last year, they will be gifts for family members.
This year, I had some different ideas and wanted to create three different ones:
- One for my mum with old family photos.
- One for my husband with a photo from each of the years we’ve been together.
- One for my parents-in-law with photos of their granddaughter from 2015.
The calendars from Snapfish are really easy to create. Choose your photos from your computer, then upload them to your Snapfish account and place them in your chosen calendar. There are a bunch of different styles and sizes to choose from and lots of options to change the calendars by playing around with themes, backgrounds, colours, text, fonts, layouts and more.
For the calendar for my mum I chose the desk calendar style as this suits her home the best. Its back is made of sturdy black cardboard that makes a stand for the calendar. It’s delivered flat and you just pop it up. Desk calendars cost £10.99 each and their size is 10×5″.
For the other two calendars I chose the kitchen calendar style. I picked our my favourite photos from my daughter’s second year and organised them randomly into the calendar. That’s an option you have when you design your calendar which is a great quick way to add your photos if the order doesn’t matter.
The third calendar with photos of my husband and I, took the longest as I had to find some really old photos of us. I ended up not finding one from each year as my old laptop’s screen doesn’t work so I can’t get to those photos, but I did nearly get one for every year plus a few extra from recent years and a random favourite.
The kitchen calendars cost £9.99 each and their size is 11.5×5. These calendars come with a gift envelope too.
I’m very happy with the result and I’m sure my family members will be very happy to receive their personalised photo calendars at Christmas. There are so many different things you can do with your favourite photos! If you have older children, a calendar with their drawings would be really sweet, for example.
I was given the opportunity to order these calendars free of charge in exchange for my review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
