Ecocobox Review – A New Natural, Eco and Vegan Subscription Box for Mums

There are quite a few subscription boxes on the market and now there’s finally one that’s perfect for mums like me who love natural and eco-friendly products.

Ecocobox is a new subscription box aimed at mums who are either pregnant or have pre-schoolers. You can choose a monthly or bimonthly subscription and you’ll receive a lovely box with a mixed selection of products that are all natural, non-toxic, eco and vegan.

“We ensure every item in the box is cruelty free and made from natural ingredients, with no nasties or animal products, leaving you free to enjoy pampering yourself and your child with peace of mind.” Ecocobox

Each box contains a minimum of four full size eco-lifestyle products from leading and emerging natural brands. You can expect bath, beauty, pregnancy/baby/child and home products chosen for you depending on your due date or your youngest child’s birthday.

I’ve just received an ecocobox and it’s such a treat! My first box contained 5 brilliant products that are all just the kind of products and brands that I’d buy myself. Having a subscription is a great way to find new eco-friendly brands and try new products and a wonderful encouragement to taking a bit of time for much needed pampering and enjoying some treats!

My first ecocobox contained:

  • BAO Skincare Recovery Face Cream

A light yet creamy face cream that gives your skin a boost of hydration and relief. It’s suitable for sensitive and delicate skin and is very soothing thanks to the organic chamomile water and calendula oil. It also contains shea butter and plant oils to nourish and moisturise skin and help improve its elasticity, tone and radiance. Another hero ingredient is hyaluronic acid which plumps the skin and helps keep it hydrated for longer. Pretty much exactly the cream all mums need!

  • F.E.T.E. Mummy & Little Toothbrush

We’ve been using bamboo toothbrushes for quite some time now in this household and we love them. The kids use them too which is great! In this ecocobox, we received a set of an adult and a kids’ bamboo toothbrushes from F.E.T.E. (From Earth To Earth). They have biodegradable bamboo handles and recyclable nylon bristles that are soft and gentle on gums. I’m really pleased with the style, shape, feel and quality of these toothbrushes and my eldest daughter loves that we have matching toothbrushes.

  • Tisserand Lavender and Chamomile Bath Oil

My own bathtime is pretty much the only time that I get to myself and on my own and I really cherish these 20-30 minutes that I get once or twice a week to enjoy a hot soak and a good book. I like to take this time to enjoy a bit of pampering too and love a luxurious bath product to do this. This product is ideal for just that. It’s a luxurious bath oil that hydrates the skin as you relax in the bath and the Lavender and Chamomile makes it even more relaxing as the scents are very calming and soothing. It’s perfect for a bath before bed to get you all chilled out before you sleep. The oil contains Coconut and Sweet Almond oils which are both brilliant moisturisers.

  • Childs Farm Mildly Fragranced Baby Moisturiser

We’ve used Childs Farm products on the kids for years and it’s one of very few brands that don’t irritate my daughters’ skin when they have a bath. We especially love their body washes and shampoo for this. I don’t usually use their moisturiser on my eldest as she has more severe eczema and we need to use a richer cream for that, but it works well on my toddler and I will try it on my youngest when she gets a bit bigger too.

  • King Monty Vegan Chocolate Bar

A subscription box that contains a chocolate treat is my kind of box! I love chocolate and have enjoyed lots while pregnant and now while I’m a sleep-deprived mama of a newborn baby who breastfeeds every hour (sometimes more) around the clock… I’m not planning on cutting down on chocolate any time soon! This one is a delicious Hazelnut Crunch bar from King Monty. It’s vegan and made with creamy rice milk and it’s gluten free too. It’s yummy and a bit healthier that regular chocolate too and better for the environment as well.

What a brilliant box! If you’d like to try any of these products, most are available to buy from the ecocobox website (there are also gift boxes!) and if you’d like to subscribe or treat a mum you know to a subscription (Mother’s Day is coming up very soon!), use my discount code to enjoy £5 off your first box:
