February 2019 TOPPBOX Men’s Grooming & Skincare Subscription
I’ve had a few months without TOPPBOX due to moving house. It’s been a busy time and now I’ve just had my third baby too so life hasn’t calmed down at all… Having a TOPPBOX subscription is a great monthly treat to look forward to!
If you’ve not heard of TOPPBOX yet, it’s a Men’s Grooming & Skincare Subscription Box that you get delivered to your home each month — or every second month or every third month, if you prefer. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Each month’s box contains 4-5 products from top brands. You usually get a mix of full-sized and travel sized products and the total value of each box is around £50-£70 but it only costs you £19 + postage. It’s a lovely way to try new skincare products in the comfort of your own home. Most items are quite unisex as well which I love as I’m using the products myself.
When you sign up, you personalise your TOPPBOX to receive products that are specifically chosen for your grooming needs. This is a good idea as we all have different preferences, skin types and needs and it takes less than 30 seconds to fill out the quick questionnaire about your age, style, skin type, facial hair/shaving needs and hair type plus any extra comments.
Let’s have a look at the contents of the February TOPPBOX:
- Bullet & Bone Cooling Recovery Body Wash (worth £6.99)
Wow! What a body wash! This body wash is designed to be used after exercise but can of course be used at any time. It’s packed full of essential oils such as peppermint, eucalyptus and menthol which help cool down your body and speed up muscle recovery. It’s also got Maringa seed extracts to purify and cleanse and oats to moisturise and refresh skin. It’s such a refreshing body wash that both my husband and I love using! It’s great when you have a cold too as a hot, steamy shower using this will help the essential oils to clear your sinuses.
- Christopher Courtney London Men’s Prebiotic Aluminium and Alcohol Free Deodorant (worth £12.50)
This is a luxurious and natural antiperspirant deodorant that offers great protection without all the harsh chemicals of commercial deodorants. It’s gentle but does a great job at absorbing wetness and neutralising odours while protecting and nourishing the underarm skin.
- Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisturising Balm (worth £13.94)
This is a luxurious feeling skin balm that helps rehydrate damaged and dry skin. The product has been formulated to lock in moisture and strengthen skin which is perfect for the chillier weather. Spring might be around the corner, but it’s not here yet! One of the hero ingredients is artichoke which helps regenerate skin and diminish toxins.
- MONU Men’s Vital Eye Gel (worth £23.95)
To me, a good eye cream or gel has always been one of the most important parts of a good anti-ageing skincare routine. Our eyes and the area around them quickly show signs of fatigue and ageing so it’s important to do what we can to help them look and feel their best. This eye gel gets to work instantly to restore tired eyes and nourish and brighten skin. It contains Aloe Vera and Arnica to hydrate and reduce puffiness and dark circles while Siberian Ginsend and Marine Magnesium tones and tightens skin. It’s a very refreshing eye gel that feels like it works well!
- Morgan’s Pomade Hand Cream (worth £8.00)
Dry hands is something I battle with all year round (that’s parenthood!) but especially during the colder months. This is a gentle and soothing hand cream that quickly hydrates sensitive and dry skin with Argan Oil and Jojoba Oil. It also contains extracts from Lotus and Silk Proteins. It’s rich and nourishing and has a milk, pleasant scent. I love the pump bottle too as this makes application really easy and mess-free.
Another great box this month with lots of interesting new products! This month, my favourite is the Bullet & Bone Cooling Recovery Body Wash because it’s simply so refreshing and smells amazing! Get started with your TOPPBOX subscription here.
