In this blog post, I’m excited to share with you a wonderful new release – the amazing Fold-Out + Play: Doll’s House book from Nosy Crow. Fold-Out + Play: Doll’s House

This wonderful creation is by bestselling Swedish illustrator Ingela P Arrhenius. Fold-Out + Play: Doll’s House is part stylish board book, part imaginative play set. It’s a fantastic fold-out book that effortlessly transforms into a stylish and fully-furnished 3D doll’s house for children to set up, design, explore, and play with.

Inside the book, there’s a sturdy drawer for clever, built-in storage for all the parts. In the drawer, you’ll find everything you need to decorate and furnish the doll’s house, as well as for cute stand-up characters that can live in the house. There’s a cat, a dog, a fox, and a lion.

The press-out furniture pieces are easy to build and there are lots of colourful stickers included too for adding extra details around the home. The house has four rooms to furnish and decorate: a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a children’s bedroom. There’s also a garage on the back.

Once you have finished playing, you can pack everything away into the drawer and fold up the book. This is perfect for home’s with limited space or for taking the doll’s house with you to play with in other locations – on holiday or when visiting family, for example.

I absolutely love the Fold-Out + Play: Doll’s House – it’s so much fun to set up, and to play with. Additionally, I love Ingela’s signature retro style which makes this doll’s house a very stylish home indeed. Being Swedish myself, I love this kind of interior design! Additionally, it’s always nice with toys that look beautiful while also being lots of fun to play with.
