Sylvanian Families is one of the most beloved (and best-selling) toy brands in the UK (and across the world!). There are some adorable new families that have moved into Sylvania this spring… The super cute new Sylvanian Families sets are already creating a buzz! Read on to find out more about the brilliant new releases for spring 2026. 

Sylvanian Families Biscuit Bear Family 

Meet the Biscuit Bear Family – already a best-seller in Japan. The cute bears feature fur with a special extra-fluffy feel. There are several Biscuit Bear sets to choose from and to collect:

• The Biscuit Bear Family set (RRP £26.00) with mother Elena, father Lloyd the architect, and baby Noa. Includes a miniature model house, a toy car, and some design tools (a drawing and a compass).

• The Biscuit Bear Sister & Brother – Delicious Picnic set (RRP £25.99) with Molly and Theo and everything they need for a yummy picnic: picnic basket, picnic mat with holder, thermos with cups, plates, fillable croissants (with cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce), bear-shaped biscuits and a stylish hat for Molly. 

• The Biscuit Bear Twins set (RRP £10.99) with Elio and Emily and a blue tricycle for them to play with. Elio rides the tricycle while Emily pushes it. 

These bears are so cute and the picnic accessories are a huge hit with my girls! 

Sylvanian Families Citrus Bird Family 

The new Citrus Bird Family is perfect for spring with its bright and colourful feathers! The Citrus Bird Family set (RRP £28.99) includes mother Laura and her three babies (who are blue, pink, and yellow), all dressed in coordinating fruity outfits.

The set also includes a watering can and an orange tree in a tricycle stand that lets the birds transport the tree.

If you press the oranges on the front of the tree, other oranges magically fall out of the tree (you add them from the back) that you can collect in the tricycle basket. 

My daughters love these adorable birds – they are so sweet and the fact that they have wings is very impressive to my bird-loving 7-year-old. 

Sylvanian Families Citrus Bird Juice Stand

To go with the Citrus Bird Family set, there’s also the amazing Citrus Bird Juice Stand (RRP £39.99) which was voted a Hero Toy at Toy Fair 2026! This fun set features Citrus Bird father Enrique and his fabulous Juice Stand. 

This fun and interactive new stall lets you make 24 different juice combinations for your customers. Pop some oranges into the top and watch the fruit tumble down, then pour the fresh juice into a cup.

There are six types of toppings to choose from in cute animal shapes inspired by some familiar faces from the village. 

There are juices of different colours, plenty of cups, and you can also make ice lollies! There’s signage for the juice stand too and tables (that look like orange segments) that can conveniently click onto the juice stand to store the drinks. Furthermore, you can transform the juice stand into a vehicle too. Have you spotted the wheels that look like orange slices?

The girls love the Citrus Bird Juice Stand and the Citrus Bird Family. My 7-year-old is a huge fan of Sylvanian Families and has exclaimed that these are her all-time favourite sets so far! They are so interactive and so much fun to play with in many different ways. 

Sylvanian Families Dalmatian Family

There’s also a new exciting 40th anniversary limited edition set – the stylish Dalmatian Family (RRP £34.99). This set is exclusive to Smyths and features a dalmatian mother, father, boy, girl and baby – dressed to the nines in fashionable monochrome outfits inspired by their distinctive dots (with the addition of red details). They feature posable heads, arms, and legs as always.  

These new dalmatians are very charming and have great outfits! We love that it’s a big family too. 

Sylvanian Families Baby Woodland Fairy Costume Series

Also new for this spring is the Baby Woodland Fairy Costume Series which offers a sneak peek at an enchanting new range coming later this year… There are eight babies dressed in whimsical, floral outfits inspired by the magic of the forest to collect, including one secret character. Which one will you get in your blind bag?

We got the Sea Otter Baby dressed in an adorable rock outfit – this one is already proving to be a viral sensation across the world!
