Smooch Cosmetics Review – Lipsticks, Blusher & Duo Eyeshadow

I’ve been trying some products from the make-up brand Smooch. It’s the first time I have used the brand so it’s been fun trying something new!

Lipsticks

I have tried two lipsticks — both lovely colours. The pink one is called Kiss Me Cupid and is quite bright. I’ve never worn bright pink lipstick before but I quite like it! It doesn’t feel as heavy as a red and is therefor very suitable for daytime use. I like to use a bit of lipgloss with lipsticks sometimes and that’s what I’ve done here (left photo).

The red shade is called Prom Punch and is a red colour with a hint of plum. I really like this colour, too — it’s a shade that works with pretty much anything and is suitable for daytime or evening.

Both lipsticks are easy to apply and the colour is very even. Very good for budget lipsticks!

Blusher

Out of these products, the blusher is what I’ve used the most. I only really wear lipstick and eye shadow for special occasions but I pretty much always use blusher if I wear make-up. This shade is called Peachy. Peachy shades are perfect for my skin tone (pale) and the pigments of this blusher are great. You only need a tiny bit! If you want a very natural look (I do!) the lighter shade is the best, but they can be combined too. The darker one is more suitable for nighttime for my fair complexion. I love that there’s a mirror in the lid — perfect for applying away from home or if you need to move around at home to find natural light.

Duo Eyeshadow

There’s a daytime/nighttime theme developing here! This duo eyeshadow is called Nocturnal. For me, the lighter shade is perfect for a light make-up to brighten your eyes — more like a highlighter. Together with mascara and eyeliner, the dark grey shadow is perfect for creating a smokey eye look for a night out. Like the blusher, the pigments are really good so you don’t need to use much product.

My favourite product out of these is the blusher, probably because it’s the most useful to me. Overall, I am really impressed with this very purse friendly make-up range from Smooch. Many Smooch products can be bought from Amazon.
