How to Declutter Your Kitchen – Getting Started

The kitchen is a room that usually holds a lot of stuff – crockery, cookware, food, drinks, and also usually other random things such as art and craft supplies for the kids and more. It can easily turn into a huge job if you try to do it all in one go so I would recommend tackling one area or one category at a time. If you feel like you want to do more, you can always do another section after completing the first one. 

My Current Priority – Food Storage

My whole kitchen could do with a spring declutter but I’m going to start with food storage and cupboard organisation. I did a whole makeover in our main food storage cupboard a few years ago but it needs a bit of a refresh this year. I’m also trying to get a better overview of food stored in the fridge and freezer to help reduce food waste and to make meal planning easier.
