Avocadeau Handmade Natural Avo’ Based Skincare | Avo’ Infusion Oil
Avocadeau is a small 100% natural skincare brand founded by a lovely lady called Gemma. The brand makes avocado based skincare products. Gemma found it difficult to find skincare products that were suitable for her sensitive skin so she decided to create her own skincare range specifically formulated with natural ingredients to suit sensitive skin types.
Gemma says:
“I am a huge avo’ fan (I hope you are too!), and after discovering the benefits of avocado oil on your complexion. I decided to base my product range entirely around avocado.”
“With my science background (I have a degree in Biochemistry) I was keen to delve deep into the science of behind the benefits of avo’ oil. Avocados are rich in oleic acid, which is the ‘good fat’ found in avocado, and is what makes the oil so deeply moisturising
“Avocados are also packed with the anti-ageing antioxidant vitamin E, which works to help neutralise the damaging free radicals that are produced from UV exposure. As well as this they are rich in vitamin C, which helps with collagen production.”
There are currently five products in the range:
- Bath Body (and Face) Soap
- Calm Foot Balm
- Scrub Face Mask
- Pout Lip Balm
- Infusion Oil
They are all handmade in the UK from natural ingredients and do not contain any added preservatives, parabens or SLS. They’re all cruelty free too. I love avocados so I was really excited to try some of these products!
I’ve got the Avo’ Infusion Oil with Aromatic Clary Sage. You can also choose to have it with Delicate Rose Geranium or Soothing Lavender. It’s a versatile, 100% pure avocado goodness oil that can be used as a moisturiser to keep skin hydrated and soft. It also helps reduce redness, irritation and the appearance of scars and is a great product for fighting signs of ageing.
You can also use it as a facial cleanser to help balance your skin’s oils and improve its complexion or as a leave in conditioner to fight frizz and add moisture to curls or split/damaged ends. Applying it to your roots can help stimulate hair growth too. Another use for it is to put a few drops in the bath to moisturise your whole body while you relax.
I love to use it as a facial cleanser and moisturiser too. I take a few drops and massage it into my skin while I take a hot shower and rinse my face while I’m in there too. Then when I get out and am all dry again, I massage a couple of drops into my skin.
It’s a lovely oil that feels so nourishing on my skin! The clary sage scent is quite strong while you’re applying the oil but it soon fades away as your skin absorbs the oil.

I’ve tried also a small sample of the face mask and the foot balm. The face mask is deeply cleansing and gently exfoliating and makes my skin feel soft, clean and nourished. The Calm Foot Balm is a rich beeswax based balm enriched with avocado and peppermint oil to soothe tired and aching feet. It’s so hydrating and perfect for getting feet and nails ready for spring and summer.
