Create A Professional Business Logo in Minutes – Logojoy Review

When you have any kind of business, your logo is very important. It’s often the first thing people see and it can be a crucial factor in whether you are remembered and considered a professional business or not. If you don’t have the drawing or computer skills needed to design your own logo from scratch, it can be quite a daunting task and you might not want to or have the funds to outsource it to a graphic designer.

Fear not, I’ve tested a logo designing service called Logojoy (www.logojoy.com) that lets you design a professional logo for your business or blog online in minutes. You can do it from the comfort of your own home and customise it to your taste until your completely happy.

It’s completely free to use the tool and to create your logos — you only pay once you’re happy and have made the logo design you want to use. I really like this aspect as it means there’s nothing to lose. The basic price is then $20, the premium $65 and the enterprise $195. For most businesses, the premium option is more than enough and if you’re not going to print anything, the basic is a good, very affordable option.

So how does it all work? It’s very simple and I’ll take you through all the steps below.

You head over to the Logojoy website and get started by entering your business name.

For Logojoy to know the kind of style you like, you are then asked to choose at least five logos from a selection of different ones.

Then you choose up to three colour schemes that you like and that you would be interested in including in your logo design.

Then, if you want to, you can choose up to five symbols/icons to see in your designs. As I have a parent blog, I searched for words like Mother, Mum, Parent and Baby. The website suggests search terms related to the word you have searched for to make it easy for you to look through the many choices. I chose a baby icon and a pram icon to see it in different ideas.

After the previous step, Logojoy generates lots of different design options for you to look through. Then you can pick your favourite to edit further to your taste. I chose the orange one with the baby icon that you can see in the top left above.

When you’ve chosen one, you get to see lots of variations of that design with different fonts and different sized icons etc.

You can play around with it lots and change and edit the business name, the symbol, fonts, background and more. You can add slogans and containers and view more variations and play around with the sizing and spacing until you’re completely happy.

There are 475 premium fonts, over 550k premium symbols, 5.5k colour presets and 6 layouts to choose from, so you’re sure to find something that you love.

Logojoy is really easy to use and the result is very professional. The service is good value too as $65 is much less than you would have to pay a designer and you can edit things as you go along instead of paying for edits with your designer.

One thing that I find extra helpful is that you get to see your design in action before buying. You can preview what it would look like on business cards, signs, merchandise etc. to see what it looks like in different settings and environments and this all updates in real-time when you make any changes to your design.

When you’ve chosen your design and have paid for your logo, Logojoy sends you all the logo files a designer would, including high-res PNGs and vector files to use in print, online, and anywhere else. They’re ready to use and you even get perfectly sized versions of your logo for social media and brand guidelines with the colors and fonts used. This is very useful and saves so much time!
