I am quite picky when it comes to moisturisers. In summer I want something really light, in winter I want something buttery and in autumn and spring I need something in between. I have found the perfect body moisturiser for my autumnal needs and it’s Lait-Crème Fluide from the Parisian cult brand Embryolisse — a skincare brand that is loved by makeup artists and celebrities all around the world.

Lait-Crème Fluide is a velvety and light yet very hydrating product. The smoothing lotion replenishes moisture that the skin needs and makes my skin feel soft and supple. I use it as a body lotion after my shower and the natural, nourishing and hydrating ingredients sink into my skin quickly to protect it and stop it from feeling dry and too tight.

It’s really perfect for this time of year for me because it’s a bit richer than moisturising sprays and runny lotions but not as heavy as creams and butters. It absorbs quickly and the hydration lasts until my next shower.

The cream is suitable for all skin types and climates and can also be used as a facial make-up remover, as an after-sun cream or after-shave treatment and it’s even gentle enough to use on babies. I love a good multi-tasking product! It saves time and valuable space in our small bathroom cabinets.
