How to Preserve Summer Memories Using Personalised Photo Prints
|How to Preserve Summer Memories Using Personalised Photo Prints
Summer is here and the school summer holidays are too which means it’s time to spend lots of quality time with your children, making memories that they’ll treasure forever.
Summertime is the perfect time to go on family days out or to travel with your family. Perhaps you’re heading abroad for a holiday for the first time since the pandemic? Or maybe you’re staying more local, travelling around the UK for a staycation? Either way, I’m sure your summer will be filled with adventures and fun moments with your family.
We’ve got quite a busy summer planned and the weeks always fly by during the holidays. At the end of the summer break, I always like to get my kids together and talk about all the fun things that we have done together, and we usually make a drawing together showing all the main events or special memories. This activity helps the kids remember what we’ve done and see how many exciting things have happened over the weeks.
We also like to look through all our photos from the holidays together cast to the TV. Then I pick my favourite photos and get them printed. Some I get printed to put in a family camping logbook that we have and I will usually have one or two special photos of the kids that I get printed either on a photo canvas or as a print for a framed picture.
MYPICTURE.co.uk has lots of brilliant options for creating beautiful prints of your favourite photos to use as part of your interior design. We also like to make personalised gifts and create prints to give to the girls’ grandad.
In modern life we take so many photographs using our phones, but we rarely sit down and actually look at them. Printing some of your best photos will ensure that they get seen too, not just sit there taking up space on your phone’s memory.
MYPICTURE Discount Code:
I have a special discount code – AMUMREVIEWS15 -for my readers that will give you a 15% discount on all products except MixPix. The code is valid until 31.12.2022 and can be used multiple times.
When selecting photos to use for prints in the home, I look for good quality photos – usually ones taken outdoors in natural light. I also look for photos that have good composition and are perhaps a bit artistic too. Natural elements such as the beach, rocky cliffs or the forest usually look beautiful as a backdrop for photos of your children or other family members. They are a great way to bring nature into your home too. Don’t worry about photos being a bit wonky or things like that – you can always adjust, crop, and edit the photo on your phone or when ordering your personalised photo prints online.
Creating personalised photo prints of the most special moments from your time with your family over the holidays is a great way to preserve summer memories. It will help the whole family remember the fun adventures that you’ve had together and might inspire you to start planning future escapades too!
