New Spring/Summer Shoes from Uppersole for Mum & Daughter

It’s no secret that children need new shoes very frequently. This time when I went looking for new shoes for my 4-year-old daughter, I also got some for myself. It’s rare that I shop for myself these days as the kids are always my first priority.

Well, this time I ordered two pairs of spring and summer shoes for myself and a good pair of spring pre-school shoes for my eldest daughter. They’re all from a shop called Uppersole which sells good quality Men’s, Women’s and Kids’ shoes at affordable prices.

Let’s have a look at the shoes I picked!

My daughter’s shoes are the kids’ Flat Hook & Loop Trainers Shoes in Brown which are ideal for pre-school. They’re really sturdy and comfortable, have a Velcro fastening (which means she can put them on and take them off herself!) and a great sole. I’m so pleased with the quality and my daughter loves them so much!

The upper is made from Faux Leather and the shoes are also available in Blue. They seem really durable and I’m sure they’ll last for my younger daughter to use when she’s older too. We got a size Child 8 and I would say that they’re very true to size. They cost just £14.99 which is a bargain for this quality!

For myself, I got one pair of sporty shoes and one pair of Mary Jane shoes suitable for most occasions. The Women’s Flat Round Toe Leather Cleated Slip On Sneaker Trainers are amazingly comfortable! They are practical and make great walking shoes thanks to the cushioned inside sole that adds extra comfort and support. The are perfect for spring with their airy materials and they look nice too.

They come in a range of colours (Black, Blue and Navy) that all go well with most laid-back outfits whether you’re wearing active wear, jeans or a summer dress. These shoes cost £19.99.

The final pair of shoes are the Flat Comfort Mary Jane Shoes. They’re available in 10 beautiful colours but I went for classic black as that will go with all my clothes! These shoes are amazing! I love them so much!

Often, affordable Mary Jane shoes and similar can be stiff and uncomfortable but these shoes are the complete opposite. They are made from super soft leather (upper, insole and lining) and have a padded insole for comfort. The flexible rubber grip outer sole is really sturdy and good too!

The hook and loop fastener makes it easy to get the shoes on and off quickly and looks cute too. I can’t get over how comfortable these shoes are — I’m so happy I have them! I would expect these to cost at least £75 but they’re just £15.99 which is truly brilliant value for money. I might order some more colours too! I could easily wear these shoes all day and they work just as well for daily wear as they do with a nice dress for a meal out.
