Stretch marks are a hot topic when it comes to pregnancy and post-pregnancy skincare. Some claim they are genetic and some that you can help avoid them by using different creams and oils. I believe that you can reduce your risk by looking after yourself and your skin and that you can help existing stretch marks by using products too.

I know that I’m genetically prone to getting stretch marks because I got them during my teenage years when I developed hips and I also got a few small ones on my belly towards the end of my first pregnancy and on my breasts when my milk came in the first time around.

I’ve just had my second baby and during the last month of pregnancy, I got a few new stretch marks on the bottom of my bump but none anywhere else and when my milk came in this time, I didn’t get any stretch marks on my breasts. I was quite good at creaming and oiling my bump this time around but definitely forgot some days.

Moisturising has never been so easy and quick! My skin was left feeling hydrated and cared for and there was no greasy residue. The spray format is so handy and refreshing too when the weather is hot.

I did not get any new stretch marks while using this product and my existing ones felt soothed by the hydration from the spray.

Post-pregnancy, I swapped products and started using the Solution for Stretch Marks cream instead as this cream is formulated to be used on existing stretch marks. You get the best result if you start tackling stretch marks as soon as they appear.
