The Graff pink diamond is believed to be the exquisite diamond that inspired the Pink Panther series. Worth a staggering 35.5 million, it has been hailed as one of the world’s most unique diamonds ever, this is due to its quality, size and its unique pink colour.
Other amazing diamonds include the Wittelsbach Graff diamond. This diamond is considered to be an internally flawless diamond, it is 31 carats weighing 6.212g and its unique deep blue hue makes this diamond worth 17 million. It was sold at auction in 2008. Blue diamonds are incredibly rare and the colouring is often associated with royalty and power. Its new owner reduced the size by 2 carats however, it is still considered to be one of the most expensive pieces sold at auction.
