TOPPBOX Men’s Skincare Subscription Box | June 2021
|TOPPBOX Men’s Skincare Subscription Box | May 2021
Another month has passed and I’ve received a lovely grooming and skincare subscription box from TOPPBOX in the post. They’re always great but the June box is one of my personal favourites so far.
TOPPBOX is a really fun subscription service for men (but many products are unisex too) who love testing new skincare and grooming products. You fill out a quick profile about your grooming needs – hair, beard, age and skin type, then you enjoy a monthly box filled with goodies.
Each TOPPBOX contains 5-7 full sized products put together for your grooming profile and the total value is always around £50-£70 but you only pay £24 plus shipping £3.25. You can also enjoy 20% off your first box with my TOPPBOX discount code AMR20.
My profile details are:
- Age 27-35
- Combination Skin
- No Facial Hair
- Long Hair
Let’s have a closer look at the surprise products that were in the lovely June 2021 box!
- Terre De Mars 010 Nourishing Shampoo Cosmos Organic (worth £19.00)
I mainly use solid shampoo these days but was excited to try this stylish shampoo infused with coffee extract, rosemary leaves and almond protein to nourish hair and protect hair and scalp. It feels nice to use and has a luxurious scent that would fit well into a 5-star hotel. My hair was left soft and fresh!
- Below the Belt Anti-Perspirant Deodorant (worth £4.49)
This is a deodorant for your underarms despite the name! It has a very fresh, invigorating and clean scent that reminds me of the air when you’re near the sea. The formula is gentle but will keep you fresh and dry. The deodorant has been dermatologically tested and is alcohol-free.
- FIGHT Vitamins (sample)
These are tasty chewy vitamins bursting with mango flavours and packed with Vitamin D and 10 other key nutrients for health and immunity support.
- ZERO by Skin Academy Rejuvenating Eye Cream (worth £9.99)
This is a brilliant eye cream that is plant based and vegan. It’s formulated with the finest botanical ingredients, enriched with Shea Butter and coconut oil for skin hydration. It’s a gentle formula suitable for the delicate skin around the eyes. I have sensitive skin in this area and this cream works really well for me. The tube is a generous size too so sometimes I treat myself to putting the eye cream on the rest of my face too. The packaging is fully recyclable which is big plus for me!
- Dr Botanicals Lemon Superfood All-In-One Rescue Hand Butter (worth £14.90)
My hands are always in need of a bit of TLC and this is a wonderful product for exactly that. A rich hand butter that is vegan and natural and packed with minerals, antioxidants and vitamins to rejuvenate and invigorate dry hands. It contains lemongrass for healing, coconut to hydrate and Sea Buckthorn which acts as a natural cleanser and exfoliator. The lemon scent is so fresh and lovely, the formula is a pleasure to massage into my hand to restore them back to normal and I also love the design of the yellow tube.
- Professor Herb Ultra Exfoliating Body Bar (worth £8.99)
I love using a bar soap in the bath and this one smells amazing, cleanses skin without drying and exfoliates it too with its slightly rough texture. It’s a great zero waste bath / shower option to refresh your skin after a long day, leaving it soft, smooth and clean. It looks great too!
- The Other Saint High Exfoliator (worth £19.50)
This is another exfoliating product but for your face. It comes in completely plastic free and compostable packaging which is great! The product is eco-friendly and great for your skin too. It contains walnut shells that work as a natural exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and impurities and cranberry seed to heal and protect. It feels great on my skin and instantly reveals fresh and smooth skin and a brighter complexion. Use 2-3 times a week and follow with your favourite moisturiser. After I’ve used it on my face, I use what’s left on my hands to exfoliate my hands too to ensure nothing is wasted and my hands get a nice treat too.
- Yardley London Urbane Gentleman Eau De Parfum (worth £3.99)
Last but not least, a handy compact, pocket sized perfume. The scent is masculine and sophisticated and perfect for a modern man. The fragrance has a dynamic blend of bergamot and lavender with notes of thyme and tarragon, sandalwood, patchouli and musk.
What a wonderful box! I absolutely love the contents of this month’s box and it’s great to see so many eco-friendly options!
