Amphora Aromatics Anti-Ageing Scienea Superfruit Serum Review
Amphora Aromatics is a skincare brand that I’ve enjoyed using for quite some time now and I’m always excited when they launch new products. The newest release is Scienea which is a facial serum brand with two different serums available now. The formulas are made here in the UK from clinically proven natural ingredients and are proved to work.
The two serums — skin firming ‘Superberry’ and anti-ageing ‘Superfruit’ — are rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants and formulated with pure essential oils, super fruits and berries and are suitable for all skin types. The range helps reduce wrinkles and crow’s feet, boosts skin elasticity and helps remodel facial contours. The serums are parable-free and contain a mix of over 20 independently tested, natural ingredients.
I’ve been incorporating the Scienea Superfruit Anti-Ageing Serum into my updated skincare routine for autumn. My skin was desperate for more moisture so I’m now focusing on products that are caring, gentle and hydrating. This serum is perfect for the purpose! I’m also turning 30 later this year, so anything that can help my skin look younger for longer is very welcome into my bathroom cupboard!
This serum contains a rapid, effective, clinically proven and wrinkle smoothing natural active ingredient called Gatuline In-Tense that gives the skin a natural lift, enhances skin density and firmness. The serum starts working from the first application and is recommended to be used twice a day for optimal results.
I find the serum to be like a mix of a serum and a facial oil in texture which makes it very pleasant and hydrating. I love both facial oils and serums so this works very well for me with both in one product. I don’t use oils in the summer but they’re great for my skin over autumn and winter when my skin tends to feel dry. Autumn is definitely here now!
You simply use the pump dispenser to get the product out and apply a few drops of the serum to your cleansed and dried face with your fingertips. If you take a few minutes to massage it into the skin, it works even better. Allow the serum to sink in and absorb before applying moisturiser.
The serum leaves my skin feeling pampered, deeply hydrated, soft, glowing and smooth. I sometimes use it on its own — it depends on how my skin is feeling after cleansing. It’s a lovely, moisturising serum that makes my skin feel good and helps it look more youthful too. The scent is nice and natural — it reminds me of something else I’ve used a long time ago but I can’t place the scent. It’s pleasant and that’s important! It’s quite a relaxing scent too and that in combination with a little facial massage is a great way to both start the day and end the day.
Each serum retails at £30 for 20ml and is available from www.scienea.co.uk.
I was sent a sample bottle of this serum for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
