It might not officially be summer yet, but we sure do have summer weather this week! The sun is shining and the temperatures are rising to hot summer levels. It’s definitely time for sun cream and sun hats! In this article, we’ll look at my girls’ new Little Hotdog Watson summer hats which look amazing, offer top level sun protection, and have many more cool features too. Read on to find out more.

Our New Little Hotdog Watson Summer Hats 

We love family adventures – hiking up mountains, camping, spending time on the beach – and sun protection is a big priority for us. Good sun hats are a must from the very first signs of spring until summer is over. Because of this, it’s really important to me to ensure my kids have hats that they enjoy wearing.

This trio shows the brand’s main summer hat designs. Below, you can find a summary of the features of each style. All the options have/are:

• UPF50+ sun protection to protect skin from harsh UVA + UVB rays. This protection lasts for the lifetime of the hat.
• Buzz Off! Clever in-built mosquito repellent, designed for sensitive skin. This lasts up to 30 washes or equivalent dunks in the sea.
• Goldilocks Fabric which is a smart adapting fabric lining that helps keep your head the perfect temperature.
• Durable. Little Hotdog Watson hats go through performance testing to ensure they stay looking good. They are machine washable for easy care.
• Sustainable. All prints are designed in-house and woven using 75% solar energy in a cutting edge mill using non toxic Oeko-Tex inks.

Little Hotdog Watson Kids Cub Sun Hat

The cub sun hat has a soft brim to shade the face. Additionally, it has hidden neck protection with a roll up flap that can be rolled down on very sunny days. We love this feature as it offers extra protection for ears and necks. The cub sun hats also have two cute little ears on top and contrasting fabrics for a cool design. These hats are soft and comfortable to wear and easy to squish into a pocket or a small bag for taking with you.

There are many cub sun hat colours and prints to choose from, in sizes 0-6 months up to 8-10 years. The Tiger King design has a fun and bright tiger print on the outside, a green camouflage print on the ears and the neck flap, and a bright yellow colour on the inside.

Little Hotdog Watson Kids Adventurer Bucket Hat

The adventurer bucket hat is a classic design. It features a soft brim all the way around with reinforced stitching to ensure the hat holds its shape and shades the face. The brim can also be turned up when needed. It’s a comfortable and soft hat, that is easy to take with you on the go as it packs down small too.

We have the adventurer bucket hat in the Plain Camo design which looks great. It’s also available in many other designs in kids sizes 0-6 months up to 8-10 years and in adult sizes too. On sizes up to 18-36 months, there’s a soft touch Velcro fastening chin strap too.

Little Hotdog Watson Adults Baseball Cap

The baseball hat style has a soft brim with reinforced stitching to hold its shape and shade the face. It’s also a soft and comfortable hat that can be packed into pockets or small bags. It bounces back into shape when you want to wear it. This hat features an adjustable soft touch Velcro strap at the back to ensure a snug fit.

The one we have is an adult size but this hat is also available in children’s sizes 0-6 months up to 8-10 years. The Leopard design has a stylish neutral leopard print on the outside and a bright yellow fabric on the inside.
