Love2read Personalised Book For Father’s Day Review
I love making personalised books for my daughter as it adds an extra level of fun to reading. My daughter loves books and the personalised books that we have are extra special to her.
For Father’s Day, I have created a “My Dad…” book all about my husband and our daughter. I filled the book with photos of father and daughter together and chose lots of early days ones where our girl is just a little baby. We’re just about to have our second baby and I wanted something to remind our toddler that she used to be that little too.
Using the love2read website, you can create all sorts of personalised books about the topic of your choice. Since Father’s Day is coming up, this title is perfect.
Creating your book is a really simple process. You choose the topic, add a short introduction if you wish and then add you photos. You can then change the colours of the frames on each page and add descriptions to each photo. If you are making a “My Dad” book then all captions will start with “My Dad”. I added short descriptions of each photo for every page.
The front cover collage is made with the first four images from the book and at the end there’s another collage with all nine photos. One book costs £16.99 which is quite good for a personalised book. If you order several of the same book, the price per book reduces.
The delivery of the book was very fast and I’m happy with the quality of the print. The cover is soft and and glossy. I wish there was a choice to order hardback books or board books too as these are more sturdy and would stay looking nice for longer.
We all love looking at the photos in this book. It’s a really sweet idea and makes a lovely gift for the dad or the children featured.
The photos of my book have been blurred for the privacy of my family. I was given the opportunity to create this book free of charge in exchange for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
