I have always been into skincare and loved pampering myself with nice products that make my skin feel and look better. Before becoming a mother, I used to spend quite a lot of time on my skincare routine. After having children, the skincare sessions have been more rushed and, until recently, not something I would prioritise on a daily basis. Now that my youngest is finally sleeping better, I am taking better care of my skin again.

This summer I have challenged myself to do a proper skincare routine morning and evening every day to make it a habit that I do automatically. It’s working well so far and I’m carving out the needed time in the morning and evening to look after my skin again.

I have added a few new products to my bathroom shelf that I want to share with you today. They are fresh skincare products from the brand RINGANA and they are excellent.

• RINGANA FRESH eye serum

A good skincare routine should include care for the delicate skin around the eyes. The skin here is particularly thin and sensitive so needs different products. People who are tired and stressed often experience dark circles under the eyes or puffiness, and wrinkles and loss of firmness are common side effects of ageing.

You use it morning and evening after cleansing and apply it by gently tapping the product into the skin with your fingertips. I love it!

Next, a serum for the rest of the face. A serum is an important step in my skincare routine. It makes a big difference to how my skin feels and looks. The serum feels great on my skin and hydrates it deeply. My skin feels firmer and refreshed after using this product.

When my skin is feeling particularly tired and dry, I love using an overnight treatment to give it a extra nourishing boost. The FRESH overnight face treatment from RINGANA is a product that has been formulated with a special ABC complex to firm the skin of your face, neck, and décolletage overnight as you sleep.

The formula is deeply moisturising and also improves the skin’s elasticity and firmness. I can see this being my go to product in winter when my skin is drier than usual. Currently, in the summer, I’m using this 1-2 times per week.
