Before taking the course, I had watched a few of Sally’s webinars that she offers through 101 Training. I had really enjoyed these so was looking forward to doing a full course too. Sally is great at what she does – both writing and teaching. She has a voice that’s very pleasant to listen to, she’s clear and professional but also has a good sense of humour.

I really like how the SEO 101 for Creators Course is designed. I especially love the fact that the content is available in both video format and text format. This aligns well with how I like to study. I watched each video and then also read the text. This approach helps my brain retain information better. For others, perhaps just video or just text works best and the course lets you choose any combination.

The length of each chapter/video is great too. Everything is concise which makes it easy to stay focused and to digest the content of each section of the course.

For me, interactive tasks are a great way to enhance learning so I enjoyed the quizzes and the practical challenges. I think they’re a great way to check that you have understood things correctly and to try out your new skills.

Finally, I really like that you can do the course at your own pace, whenever suits you. You can pause whenever you need to and then resume from where you left it. I did the course over a couple of days, split into a few sessions that worked with my schedule. As advertised, it took about 2 hours to do it all which is very manageable.
