Silentnight Safe Nights Baby Products + Win a Baby Sleeping Bag!
I have some exciting news to share! Leading bedding brand Silentnight has launched a range of nursery products to the UK and it’s amazing!
The new Silentnight Safe Nights Nursery Collection includes all the baby sleeping products you might need: baby sleep bags, blankets, towels and of course bedding. All have stylish and delicate designs to suit any type of home.
The products meet the best industry requirements, having been manufactured in OEKO_TEX certified factories, to reassure parents and carers that they have the ultimate seal in safety standards. The materials are completely breathable and able to retain their shape and colour even after a minimum of 50 washes. You can find the products on Amazon.co.uk here.
Here’s a bit more information about the items from this lovely range:
- The Silentnight Safe Nights Sleep Bag (£18.99 / £23.99)
This is a gorgeous 2.5 tog hypoallergenic baby sleeping bag. It’s got a hollowfibre filling and a 100% cotton cover and is available in either pink or grey stars on a white background. The bag has a middle zip for convenience, extra underarm poppers to ensure a snug fit, and comes in two sizes: 0-6 months and 6-18 months.
Sleeping bags are great for keeping babies and toddlers at a comfortable temperature and removes the risk of covers being kicked off or pulled over faces. I would have loved to try this bag on my youngest but she’s a bit too old already at 19 months and she’s in bigger clothing sizes than her age so I don’t think she would have fit a 6-18-month sleep bag.
Don’t miss my giveaway at the bottom of the post where you can win one of these beautiful sleeping bags!
- The Silentnight Safe Nights Bubble Fleece Blanket (£13.99)
This is a lovely smooth and oh so supersoft baby blanket with star shaped bubbles on one side and a comforting fluffy fleece on the other. It’s so cosy and my daughters are always fighting over it! It’s made from 100% polyester and it’s 70 x 90cm large and available in pink or grey.
It’s a great blanket for a nap or for when you’re out and about and need an extra layer in the pram, pushchair or car.
- The Silentnight Safe Nights Hooded Towel (£13.99)
This wonderfully soft and fluffy hooded towel is the most stylish and cosy way to get baby warm and dry after bathtime. It’s made from 100% cotton, it is 75 x 75cm and features a warm brushed cotton inner hood for extra snuggliness.
- Silentnight Safe Nights Fitted Sheets (From £5.99)
We have these 100% cotton sheets that help maintain your child’s temperature. We have them in grey for our cotbed and they are so nice and soft! Our previous sheets have quickly become the spares! These sheets come in a range of sizes, suitable for Moses Baskets, Cribs, Cots and Cotbeds and are available in plain colours (white, pink, grey and cream) and with pink or grey stars. Our cotbed sheets came in a pack of two, packaged in a cute matching drawstring bag.
- Silentnight Safe Nights Duvet and Pillowcase Set (£17.99)
These are just as soft as the fitted sheets and also made of 100% cotton. The bedding is so comfortable against your skin and I’m so happy about the quality.
The sets are available in pink or grey stars on a white background and are perfect in the cot for babies over 12 months old. The duvet cover size is 120 x 150cm and the pillowcase size is 60 x 40cm which is perfect for my toddler’s bed.
I’m so pleased with the items that we have from this range. The fabrics are amazingly soft and cosy and the quality is great. The bedding instantly became our favourites and our main set for my toddler’s bed as the softness is so superior to any other duvet covers and sheets that we have. The blanket is softer than all our other ones too! The items are all very stylish too — I love the grey and the stars!
Silentnight is a great brand that is recognised for its quality, attention to detail and cost effectiveness and this new range of lovely baby and toddler products is a great addition.

Routine!! Bath book cuddles sleep
I’ve settled all three of my children after a nice warm bath with Bedtime bubble bath, a warm bottle of milk and then a night light with soothing music, Mollie is 9 months old and refuses to cuddle in to drink her bottle so I have to bend over her cot feeding her before putting her Nightlight on for her to drop off within two minutes xxx
Build ‘sleep associations’ from early on. We used white noise, swaddling, and a soft toy dog. Be aware of sleep cycles and be on hand to help transition to the next period of sleep in daytime naps (by rocking, etc. if needed).
A daily routine of bath, warm milk, story amd bed.
we have always stuck to a strict bedtime rotine and this has worked well with my 3, we all have a good night sleep in our own beds :)
Have a strict bedtime routine and always stick to it. It worked really well for my son.

Having twin girls I have to go with a routine, I always bath them, feed them, give them lots of cuddles and lay them down to sleep, albeit for only 3 hours .. lol :)
Bath, bottle, cuddles, bed with myhummy and a teddy with lights
Let baby sleep in bed beside you (in a bedside cot). Then co-sleeping. They’re only little once and despite what people say, they’re not going to be in your bed forever.

Relaxing cuddle time,
Routine. Bath, bottle and bed.
try not to let yourself get stressed if your baby doesn’t sleep regularly, or for long periods. They will eventually, in the meantime try to get rest as often as you can whenever you can.

Keeping to a strict bedtime routine
warm milk – soothing music
One thing that worked for us was a white noise machine x
Bedtime routine!
A good routine and some lavender body wash work a treat.
Who knows! My son had a lovely routine and slept 12 hours every night from 8 weeks old. My daughter then had the exact same routine and didn’t sleep through until she was over 1. She still insists on the landing light on & door wide open all night and will wake up instantly if not, and she’s almost 3! I think routine as much as possible but it’s mostly the child’s personality.
a warm bath and a story
Warm bath and quiet time after milk
have a routine and keep the room at a nice temperature
Got to be routine for your own sake as much as babies – feed, bath and bed allowing enough time for you and partner to catch up and spend some quality time unwinding
Routine and cuddles

Keep to a routine and their cot in your room for the first 6 months

A nice warm bath before bedtime and a story.
My daughter was such a poor sleeper and really struggled to settle but I persevered with a daily routine and finally she was ok. Though she does still have nights where she just won’t settle!
like everyone else says a good routine and keep them snug
Try to keep to a routine as much as you can it really does help
Lavender and camomile in an infusion high in their room relaxes their senses – speak to your local aromatherapy chemist who can recommend a good mix
have the same routine food, fun bath and bed at the same time each night
Try and notice the signs that your baby makes when tired and try and have a routine.
