Let’s look at my most recent surprise grooming and skincare subscription box from TOPPBOX in the post. I’ve had a few weeks to test the products now and am ready to provide my feedback for the products in the October 2021 box.

TOPPBOX is a really fun subscription service for men (with many products that are unisex too) who love trying new skincare and grooming products. You fill out a quick profile about your grooming needs when you start about your hair, beard, age and skin type, then you enjoy a monthly box filled with goodies. I love it!

Each TOPPBOX contains 5-7 full sized products put together for your grooming profile and the total value is always around £50-£70 but you only pay £24 plus shipping £3.25. • Dear Barber Post Shave Balm (worth £11.95)

This is a soothing and luxurious balm to use after shaving, to hydrate the skin and reduce skin irritation. The formula contains Aloe Vera, Allantoin and Witch Hazel extracts to tone the skin and alleviate dryness. It’s discreetly scented with Dear Barber’s signature scent for all day freshness.

• The Solution Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Body Lotion (worth £9.99)

This is a vegan-friendly body lotion with 1.4% active ingredients – Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane and Sea Algae Complex. It’s fast-absorbing and provides excellent, long-lasting hydration thanks to the active ingredients. Use liberally on any dry areas and massage in until absorbed. Your skin will look healthier in no time! The tube is recyclable and made from recycled materials too.

• Doctors Cosmeceutical Power Actives Niacinamide Serum (worth £34.90)

This is the product I was most excited to try from this box! It’s a skin-restoring serum with vitamins and plant extracts to improve the signs of environmental ageing, to brighten, soothe, and revive skin. It also helps maintain hydration levels in the skin. Niacinamide is a powerful ingredient with lots of benefits – it reduces the appearance of enlarged pores, targets fine lines, helps even skin tone and more. It’s a great product to boost my winter skincare routine. Great for anyone who’s looking to brighten and refresh tired and dull skin. This product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

• Monuskin Delicate Facial Wash (worth £23.95)

When the weather is cold, I need my facial wash to be hydrating and suitable for dry skin. This facial wash from Monuskin is luxuriously creamy and suitable for dry and sensitive skin. Its gentle lather cleanses the skin and hydrates it too. It smells amazing of Lemon, Orange and Grapefruit. Rosewood Essential Oil, Seaweed and Natural Yoghurt extracts are naturally active ingredients found in this facial wash and they help balance your skin, leaving it soothed and cared for.

• TAKK Tp. Toothpaste. (worth £5)

Last but not least, a bathroom essential. This toothpaste by TAKK has been developed by a dentist and made in the UK. It contains natural fruit enzymes to help remove stains from your teeth, Vitamin E for gum health and well-balanced natural mint for a fresh mouth. Plus, it’s a pleasure to use! I love the minimalist design of the tube too.

Lots of great products! My favourites this month were the serum and the facial wash.
