|Children’s Christmas Gift Guide | Win a Lanka Kade Rainbow Noah’s Ark!
Children’s gifts are my favourite! We all love toys in this family and I love finding fun items for my children. In our family, we only actually buy Christmas presents for the children and this has been the tradition for a few years now. I have three daughters and in this post I’m sharing items that I think preschool age children would love as well as items up to around the age of 7. My two older girls are 3.5 years and nearly 6 years and they’d love the items in this guide.
Children’s Christmas Gift Guide 2019
Here are my top choices for children’s Christmas gifts this year:
- Lanka Kade Rainbow Noah’s Ark
This personalised Lanka Kade Rainbow Noah’s Ark from Mulberry Bush is amazing! It’s large (but packaged well to save space), sturdy, chunky and colourful plus it can be personalised with the name of your child. The bright and glossy ark has been designed with port holes, colourful rainbows and scenic painted waves and comes with a removable roof and gangway, a pair of doves, a pair of lions, a pair of elephants, a pair of tigers, a pair of zebras, a pair of giraffes, a pair of crocodiles and of course Mr and Mrs Noah.
It’s a beautiful toy that will be played with for many, many years. Mulberry Bush have a huge selection of wooden toys to choose from. They have also kindly agreed to give away a personalised Lanka Kade Rainbow Noah’s Ark (worth £45) to one of my readers so don’t miss that giveaway at the end of this post!
- Fabelab Doll Rainbow Fairy
Fairies, dolls, rainbows and gold… my nearly 6-year-old loves these things! She’d absolutely love this adorable soft Fabelab Doll (£20.90 with this link), also available as a Mermaid version and there are also matching wings that your child can dress up in!
- Le Toy Van Bakers Basket
Wooden food toys are a big part of our toy collection and something my girls play with every single day. This Christmas, I’m adding a few bits to the collection and one of them is this gorgeous Le Toy Van Bakers Basket (£14.25 with my affiliate discount code AMUMREVIEWS. Free delivery available too). This set contains some of my 3-year-old’s favourite treats — a pretzel, an iced bun, a croissant, a pain au chocolat and a swirl bun. Yum! If you prefer healthier options, there are lots of fruit and vegetables and other foods to choose from available from The Kid Collective.
- Best Years Fair Trade Cotton Angel Christmas Decoration
Best Years is a great place to shop for soft toys and their knitted designs are so adorable! Their Angel Christmas Decorations (£6.25) are really cute and make a perfect stocking filler. My daughters absolutely love decorating and will love finding a special place to hand this sweet angel this Christmas. We already have one in a different design from a few years ago so my two big girls can hang one each.
- Ethical Wooden Toy Range by Best Years
Best Years have been specialising in making ethical toys for over 10 years and, until recently, the collection has been focused on soft toys like the angel above. But now, they’ve launched a beautiful collection of wooden toys, including this iconic London bus (£75), which comes with 25 hand-painted wooden passengers and this Wooden Teaching Clock Puzzle with Hour and Minute Hands (£18.99) and more.
- Fancy Dress
Dressing up in costumes is something both my older girls love to do, so this Christmas, I’ve stocked up on a few different fancy dress accessories. They get so much fun out of combining different items and coming up with new outfits. This bunny set by Meri Meri (£15.68 with this link) includes a cheeky pom pom tail, beautiful bunny ears on a headband, all secured with gold glitter elastic for that extra sparkle. Very cute indeed!
- Hersey & Son Silver Fairy First Tooth Box
The Hersey & Son Silver Fairy First Tooth Box is a teeny tiny sterling silver box that is absolutely beautiful. It’s a round box with a solid silver box lid with a cute little fairy sitting on top. The silver box can be used to pass teeth to the Tooth Fairy or to store small trinkets. It’s a really special item that will be treasured for a long time. Enjoy 10% off with the discount code “HELLOHERSEY2019”.
- Panda Night Light by Liewood Winston
My middle girl is a slightly scared of the dark and also loves pandas so I have my eye on this panda night light (£27.56 with this link) for her to help her settle better. It’s so sweet and it’s rechargeable too which is great!

Where I used to go on a riding holiday they loaned their horses out for the winter and I was lucky enough to be able to take my favourite horse home with the idea that he would go back when the holiday season started up again. On Christmas morning, I was told I couldn’t open presents until I fed Sunny and turned him out into the field for the day.
