Rick and Morty is a very popular American animated science fiction sitcom for adults created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network’s late-night programming block Adult Swim. It premiered in December 2013 and the third season ended in 2017 but it’s just been picked up for an additional 70 episodes over an unspecified number of seasons, so fans are excited!

If you don’t know the show yet, it follows the misadventures of cynical mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his good-hearted but fretful grandson Morty Smith, who split their time between domestic life and interdimensional adventures. It’s very highly rated on IMDB with an impressive 9.3 out of 10 score.
