My eldest daughter is 5 years old and loves babies, especially her new baby sister. For quite some time now, she’s wanted a baby doll to play with and she finally has a BABY Born Soft Touch Doll that she absolutely adores.

My middle daughter, aged 3, loves her too! She happily takes over the care when my eldest is at school. It’s my 3-year-old that you can see playing with BABY Born in the photos in this review.

The new Soft Touch version of BABY Born is more realistic and cuddly! The new softer body makes the doll easier to play with — it’s easier to do the lifelike functions (that all work without batteries) and it’s also easier to dress and undress the doll as the arms are more mobile.

You get a bunch of accessories with your BABY Born Soft Touch Doll so that you can feed her, give her a bottle or a dummy, change her nappy and more. If you want the play to be very realistic you can even make the doll cry real tears, have a wee and a poo! Just like a real baby! She’s also safe to put in the bath.

She’s much easier to get to sleep though as she simply closes her eyes when you lay her down.

With your doll, you also get a bodysuit and a hat, but you can buy extra outfits too like this Unicorn Onesie that we have. My eldest daughter is unicorn obsessed so this outfit makes her very happy!

The doll is 43cm tall so can also wear Tiny Baby/newborn baby clothes and newborn cloth nappies.
