Book Review: Personalised Peppa Pig My Granny Book by Penwizard
Penwizard is a brilliant company that specialises in personalised books for children starring your child by implementing his or her name and sometimes character into the story. They make a great addition to story time and also make ideal gifts.
There are so many different types of stories to choose from and you’ll definitely recognise some popular children’s book characters in the selection. A recent addition to the collection is the Peppa Pig My Granny book that we have just ordered.
It’s a 16 page hardback book in full colour and in the story your child (or two children — a sibling or a cousin) star alongside their granny and Peppa Pig and Granny Pig. It’s a sweet story that’s made even better by being personalised. The story’s focus is on why the child loves their granny and why she’s the loveliest granny in the whole wide world.
Penwizard lets you customise the characters with a selection of hairstyles and features and of course their names. There’s an option to leave a personal message at the front of the book, too.
This book is so sweet and my two-year-old instantly recognised herself and her granny so the character personalisation is great! I also like that the book is the same size (just a bit thinner) as the Peppa Pig Ladybird board books that we have, meaning they match on the bookshelf and can be stored neatly together.
My daughter’s granny lives in Sweden so it’s extra important for us to incorporate her into everyday life with photos, Skype and books like this one.
