Cheeky Wipes Make-Up Removal Kit Review – Zero Waste Face Wipes

When trying to reduce your household waste, your skincare routine is an important part to examine. Many women use face wipes to remove their make-up in the evening or just to cleanse their skin but throwing away several disposable wipes every day soon adds up to a lot of waste. Some brands cost quite a lot too!

The kit contains:

I don’t wear make-up myself anymore and most days I just wash my face in the shower. A few days a week, I wear a tinted SPF moisturiser and, on those days, I want a more thorough cleanse. Then I use my Cheeky Wipes face wipes which offer exactly this!

You simply massage a bit of coconut oil (or other favourite cleanser) into your skin and wet a face wipe under the hot tap, then gently wipe off the coconut oil using the hot face wipe. Then you repeat with another clean wipe to remove any traces of dirt or make-up. The coconut oil is very gentle on your skin and hydrating too so your skin is left soft and moisturised. It’s also a great eye make-up remover.

The wipes have different textures on the different sides. The white side is more textured and great at exfoliating my skin while the patterned side is like the softest velvet and ideal for the delicate skin around the eyes.

After use, simply wash your wipes with the next household wash and reuse again and again. A kit with 10 wipes costs £20.95 and once you have a kit, you never need to buy face wipes again. You can also buy the make-up removal pads on their own without the storage box and coconut oil. Prices are £6.95 for 5 and £12.95 for 10.
