Children’s Freebies: Free Vitamin D Supplement From Asda Pharmacies
|Children’s Freebies: Free Vitamin D Supplement From Asda Pharmacies
Another amazing freebie from Asda pharmacies! Now you can pick up a free packet of Kids Vitamin D Raspberry Flavour chewable tablets.
Vitamin D supplements are recommended for children between 6 months and 5 years to prevent Vitamin D deficiency and diseases associated with these. Pregnant and breastfeeding women and elderly people should also take a supplement and anybody who does not spend a lot of time outdoors in the daylight. People who wear SPF all the time – like I do – should take Vitamin D supplements too, even if they do spend a lot of time outdoors.
The free pack from Asda pharmacies contains 30 tablets/a month’s supply and are made for kids over three years old.
The chewable and great tasting tablets will make it easy to give your kids their supplements! The funny shark on the bottle will help too.
Thank you Asda pharmacies for making it easier for people to be healthy! Read more about the Free Vitamin D scheme here.
I always try to remember to take Vitamin D supplements myself and give them to the kids most days, but especially when we spend a day indoors and don’t get any Vitamin D from the sunlight. For babies and small children you can use Vitamin D drops that you just put on a spoon for them. Vitamin D drops are available from most pharmacies. Here are some from Boots.
Remember that you can still pick up free folic acid from Asda, too.
