Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review

Girls definitely love cars just as much as boys! My two girls love playing with their toy cars but are even happier now as they’ve got some really cool ride on cars to drive around in the house and outside on our decking. No matter how much I wish that my children would be calm and sit down for more than a few minutes at a time, they just love being on the move and ride around super fast. Their new cars from Thisisitstores.co.uk lets them do this safely whilst having lots of fun!Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review A Mum Reviews

Our two daughters are quite close in age our eldest is four years old and our youngest will be two years old in May. If you have children with a small-ish age gap, then you’ll know that everything has to be equal otherwise there will be drama. Luckily, the girls have a car each in different designs so there are no squabbles plus they can play at the same time together and race each other too.

The girls are happy about this weekend’s sunny weather as it meant they had the opportunity to test out their new rides on the decking! ?☀️??? It was freezing but the girls were wrapped up warm and racing around super fast so they stayed nice and warm. Hope you’ve had a nice weekend and have had time to enjoy the (cold) sunshine! ☀️? . . . . . #myhappycapture #ukparentbloggers #thatparentlife #mummyshot #motherhoodthroughinstagram #instamums #instakids #toddlersofig #myfamilyadventures #mummybloggersuk #thismamaloves #capturingtheday #capturingcolour #snaphappyBritMums #tribalchat #parenthood #tribalchat #wheremywelliestakeme #mycolourfulkids #dresskids_likekids #mytrendytot #mummyshot #secretlivesoflittles #littleonewears #minionewears #jakeshoefie @jakeshoes #siblinglove #siblingsproject #sisterlylove #sisterhood

Our youngest lady has the Official McLaren P1 Sit & Go Ride-On Car by RideStar in Yellow (it’s also available in Orange). It’’s suitable for ages 3-7 years up to a weight of 23kg. Our toddler is younger than the intended age group but she’’s tall for her age, incredibly strong and wants to do everything like her big sister so she’s quite advanced in most areas. She’s not got any problems riding this car.Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review A Mum Reviews

The McLaren is easy to use and lots of fun to ride around. You use your feet to push it along and the steering feel to move the front wheels left and right. When you get up to speed, you can lift your feet up off the ground and let the wheels roll for a bit. If you install batteries (2 x AA), it can play six musical tunes and there are two buttons to honk the horn too. There’’s also a removable handle on the back that children can use to push the car around or that parents can use to help young children get going.Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review A Mum Reviews

The car is made from hard-wearing plastic and has a streamlined chassis and realistic headlights. It looks so cool and stylish! The wheels are really chunky and smooth-rolling and work well both on our carpet in the living room and on our wooden decking outside.Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review A Mum Reviews

Our four-year-old daughter chose her car herself and went for the Official Range Rover Ride-On Car by RideStar which is a scaled down replica of the Range Rover Evoque SUV. It’s got lots of authentic details, including a moving gearstick, turning steering wheel, folding mirrors and bumper badge. It looks really impressive and she’s so happy with her choice. She’s got the Red one as that’s her favourite colour but it’s also available in White.Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review A Mum Reviews

The Ranger Rover works in the same way as the McLaren by using your feet to get up to speed and the steering wheel to go left and right. It also plays music when you press the two buttons on the steering wheel. The intended age and weight group is also the same as the McLaren. As well as the extra features mentioned above, it’s also got a storage area under the seat where little ones can keep their important things toys, a snack and secret stuff! It’s a great car that my eldest loves!Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review A Mum Reviews

The girls are so happy with their new cars and I’m very pleased too. They are good quality and sturdy and provide lots of fun! I’m glad that they work just as well outdoors as indoors as that provides flexibility. The music and horns add more fun for the girls but it would be good if they had an off-switch or volume control the only way to disable the sounds is to remove the batteries. I also wish that the McLaren had a storage compartment under the seat like the Range Rover as I think that’s a great feature that I know the kids like.Children’s McLaren P1 & Range Rover Evoque Ride On Cars Review A Mum Reviews

The design of the cars is spot-on they really look like mini versions of the cars they’re representing and the attention to detail is brilliant! I would highly recommend these rides to any car crazy little ones. I would recommend them for ages 2-5 years judging on the sizes of my own children. I know these cars will be used loads outdoors this spring and summer! Both cars cost just £34.99 each from This Is It but have an RRP of £59.99. That’s a 42% saving which is a great deal!
