Dry January with Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine – Week 4

It’s the last day of January today hasn’t it flown by? During this month I’ve been trying alcohol free wines from Eisberg for Dry January. This is my last post in a series of five. You can read my post about Dry January here for more information about the health benefits of a month without alcohol. You can see my other posts about Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine here.

The final wine that I’ve tried from Eisberg‘s range of alcohol free wines is the Chardonnay. Chardonnay is a classic favourite and perfect for parties or just enjoying at home. This one is fruity and sweet with honey and vanilla aromas but still fresh thanks to the crisp apple flavours. It’s very well balanced and goes really well with light meals like salads or dishes with chicken or fish.

To me, white wines are summery since they’re best enjoyed chilled and this mocktail below screams summer, too.Dry January with Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine – Week 4 A Mum Reviews

This mocktail would be perfect for any summery celebrations, like weddings or graduations.

Here’s the recipe (borrowed from Eisberg.co.uk):

Vanilla Sunrise

Ingredients:

  • 1OOml Eisberg Alcohol-Free Chardonnay
  • Cubed ice
  • Juice of 1⁄2 a lemon
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • Cranberry juice

Garnish with:

  • Strawberry & Orange Slice

Method:

  • Add 100ml of alcohol-free Chardonnay to an ice-filled wine glass.
  • Add the juice of 1⁄2 a lemon, 1 tsp of vanilla sugar and a splash of cranberry juice.
  • Garnish with a strawberry and a slice of orange.

I was sent some Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine samples to go with my Dry January posts. As always, all my posts are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
