EasiYo Cappuccino Flavour Yogurt Review
|EasiYo Cappuccino Flavour Yogurt Review
I’ve been curious about making yogurt at home for a long time but hadn’t taken the plunge until now. What made me go for it was the new flavour release from EasiYo which is a Cappuccino yogurt.
My grandma used to treat herself and her grandchildren to cappuccino yogurt sometimes and I remember it fondly from my childhood.
The Cappuccino flavour from EasiYo has a medium bodied coffee flavour that works well for breakfast, a snack or even as frozen yogurt.
How to make EasiYo Yogurt:
Have you ever tried making your own yogurt? With an EasiYo maker it’s super easy and stress-free.
You simply mix a sachet with room temperature water in the EasiYo container (I put cold tap water in the container the day before to let it get to room temperature as you shouldn’t use warm water from the tap to drink/eat), add the lid and shake to mix. Then you put boiling water in the EasiYo yougurt maker, pop the container in, close the lid and leave for 8 hours or overnight.
The result is a large 1kg tub of delicious yogurt. It can last up to 2 weeks but with my three daughters and I all enjoying yogurt, it only lasts a couple of days in our house before we’ve eaten it all.
The girls loved getting involved in the yogurt making process, seeing how yogurt can be made at home and shaking the container. My toddler wanted to get involved in this bit too!
Cappuccino Flavour Thoughts:
We’ve tried two EasiYo flavours so far — Strawberry and Cappuccino. My girls often eat strawberry yogurt so I thought that would be their preference, but they all went mad for the Cappuccino one! I told them that cappuccino is a type of milky coffee, but they were still excited to give it a go and said it tasted like caramel yogurt. Even my husband who doesn’t like yogurt usually said it was delicious!
I agree with my girls that it tastes a bit like caramel or toffee too — like a caramel cappuccino! The yogurt was lovely and creamy and so tasty. As soon as the girls had some, they asked me if we can make it again, so it was definitely a hit. The answer was yes, we will make this Cappuccino yogurt again.
A bit more about EasiYo:
