The base stand is approximately 8 cm in width. The character template and base are both made from laser-grade plywood which looks lovely.

It takes around 20-30 minutes to complete a Crystal Art Buddy. How long it takes depends a bit on whether you have done any Crystal Art or Diamond Painting before or whether you need to learn the technique from scratch. It’s quick and easy to learn though and fun for both children and adults. Crystal Art is a wonderful therapeutic and soothing creative activity. It’s ideal when you want to do something calm.

The first step is to pour the gems of the right colour into your tray and also to prepare the pick up pen with a little bit of wax. Then you peel the protective film off your template base to reveal the sticky layer. Finally, get started picking up gems and placing them on the template in the correct place. There’s a letter for each colour so it’s easy to see where to put which colour. Keep going until you have completed all the dots, then place the figure in its stand to display it.
