I don’t straighten my hair very often but when I do, I want it to be easy and quick and with a tool that doesn’t damage my hair. My hair is naturally curly and looks nice on the day that I washed it but then gets quite unruly as you can see in the photo further down. This is what I look like in the mornings… On days when my hair looks like this, I either put it up, embrace the messiness or style it to make it look sleek.

A good hair straightener is a fast solution and recently, I’ve been testing this pretty one by Lee Stafford. It comes packaged beautifully, making it a great gift. You can also use the box for storage.

The Lee Stafford Academy Ionic Flat Iron Hair Straightener heats up so quickly — in just 10 seconds! — and has variable heat settings between 80-230° Celsius.

The nano silver titanium flat iron plates glide through my hair and makes straightening my hair effortless. It only takes a few minutes to work through my thick hair and make it silky and smooth and frizz free.

One of the things that I love the most is that it comes with a heat protection guard that protects the plates when you’re travelling or during storage. It keeps the straightener closed and neat.

It’s an advanced styling tool but it’s so simple to use. The matte black finish looks very stylish and makes styling easier too with its grip points for your hand. The hot pink details and rose gold on the handle make it look even more fun and pretty!

The on button is on the inside of the straightener meaning turning it on accidentally would be difficult! I appreciate this safety measure.
