#LittleOneWears – Term Footwear Chivers School Shoes

The summer holidays are approaching and soon it’s time to think of new school shoes for back to school in September. My eldest is starting pre-school then and though she will not be in a uniform yet, it’s important that she has durable shoes to wear that are comfortable, durable and practical for learning and playing.

We recently got our very first pair of proper school shoes and went for the Term Footwear Chivers Touch Fastening Boys School Shoes. I’m not bothered about having boys’ shoes for my daughter — I simply picked the design that I thought looked the most comfortable and practical from the collection of boys and girls school shoes from Term Footwear.

The Chivers Touch Fastening Boys School Shoes were designed in the UK and have a very practical double touch fastening that makes the shoes quick and easy to put on and take off and easy to size adjust too. It also provides extra support and strength. They have a contemporary look with a stitched design and strong but flexible thermo rubber soles that are great for kids of all ages. The upper is made from high grain leather which looks nice and smart and is very durable too.

There are soft collars around the heels for comfort and to avoid blisters on those long school days. The shoes are complete with comfortable insoles that provide support and cushioning throughout the day.

My daughter loves her new school shoes! She wants to wear them all the time — I think they make her feel like a proper school girl. I know they must be comfortable because she always lets me know if something doesn’t feel right and she’s never complained about her Chivers school shoes.

They definitely look smart and the handiwork is great! You can tell by looking at the shoes — the soles, the leather, the stitching — that they’re good quality and that they will last a long time! I’m sure she’ll grow out of them and that’s the only reason we’ll have to buy new shoes. I will keep them looking good with leather polish and I’m sure even after a term or two of playing in these, they’ll still look great for Baby No. 2 when she starts school too!
