Monsoon Rose Gold Perfume Review
I love a good perfume and I love rose gold so I was very intrigued to try Monsoon‘s first ever perfume Rose Gold.
The first thing I want to comment on is the beautiful packaging. It’s an important part of fragrances as a gorgeous bottle adds to the luxury feel that perfumes give you. Monsoon have done really well and have designed a lovely bottle that looks great on display. It’s made from thick glass and the actual bottle is droplet shaped with a square chunky cap as a nice contrast. The sprayer is rose gold, of course. It’s really nice! The bottle comes in a luxurious box too.
Now to the actual scent. The Monsoon Rose Gold Eau De Parfum has top notes of sparkling lemon, soft fruit and ozonic scents, layered with velvety rose, tuberose, neroli and cyclamen, and underpinned with base notes of Eastern woods, vanilla, mosses, musk and balsamic amber. It’s a glamuorous scent that feels young and mature at the same time — it’s not for girls but perfect for young, ambitious women. I think it works really well for both daytime and nighttime wear.
A 30ml bottle retails at £24, a 100ml bottle costs £35 and there’s also a gift set with a body lotion available for £29. Find them all on the Monsoon website.
