New Mini Box from Weekend Box Review

Weekend Box is an activity box that you get in the post as a subscription. The box contains crafty activities for children aged 3-6 and each box contains a selection of things to do. The original box now called Bumper Box  contains 4 activities but now there’s a new, smaller box with 2 activities called the Mini Box. The contents are packaged in a slim cardboard box that will fit through your mailbox so you don’t need to worry about being in to accept the delivery.New Mini Box from Weekend Box Review A Mum Reviews

The new Mini Box contains:

      • 2x Activities randomly chosen from MAKE, BAKE, EXPLORE & MORE
      • Your very own personalised box
      • 1x Collectable character sticker

They cost £4.95 per box but you get your 1st box for just £2.49. The boxes are delivered fortnightly. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. The box also provides you with access to the Weekend Box Online Club House and videos of fun activity ideas.

These boxes are a great way to inspire creativity and imagination. The boxes are ideal for weekends away from home visiting grandparents/family or on holiday when you are away from you regular craft supplies but still want to get creative.New Mini Box from Weekend Box Review A Mum Reviews

The theme of our first Mini Box was Rainforest. One of the activities was to make a parrot mask and this was lots of fun. You got everything you needed except for scissors which most households have. I helped my 2-year-old cut the parts out and then she continued to decorate the mask with the crayons that came in the box. She loved it!New Mini Box from Weekend Box Review A Mum Reviews

The other activity was to grow a rainforest and the sachet included soil, seeds and string. You just need an old plastic water bottle to plant in and a bit of water. We’ve not done this activity yet as my daughter is a bit too young but we’re saving it for when older children of friends’ come and visit.  New Mini Box from Weekend Box Review A Mum Reviews

In the bottom of the box there’s a diploma that you can fill in and you also get stickers to say you completed the different activities. The Weekend Box provides crafty and creative entertainment with little effort or planning needed. It’s great for parents who struggle to come up with craft ideas to do with their kids or for ones who just want to try some new things.
