Review & Giveaway: Cocobelle Baby 100% Organic Coconut Oil for Baby
Just as my three-year-old’s skin problems are under control, my toddler’s skin is flaring up. She used to have perfect skin until a couple of months ago and I’m thinking maybe the change is because we cut down on and then stopped breastfeeding shortly before her first birthday. Whatever the reason, I now need to choose the products that I put in her bath and on her skin more carefully.
I seem to have more luck and see better results with natural and organic products so that’s always what I look for when trying to find products for the girls and myself too.
Cocobelle Baby is a new 100% Organic Coconut Oil for babies. The brand was established this year by a husband and wife team — Al and Ann-Mari — after they’d searched the market trying to find a product that would effectively cure their baby daughter’s eczema. After spending lots of money and time and not finding anything that worked well enough, they discovered coconut oil.
They also discovered that there are so many different types and grades of coconut oil available and tested a wide range on them until they found the one — a premium mild and gentle organic coconut oil that felt beautiful on skin and worked great on their daughter’s skin. Cocobelle Baby was born and is now available for all parents looking for a natural and organic product to hydrate and soothe delicate baby skin.
The name Cocobelle is a fusion of words inspired by the core ingredient — Coconuts — and the little lady herself, Cocobelle’s founders’ baby girl, Annabelle.
Cocobelle Baby has been created to offer nourishment for young and sensitive skin, keeping it soft and moisturised. It’s completely natural and 100% free from chemicals. Even the packaging is completely baby safe — free from BPA and 100% recyclable.
Coconut oil can be used for lots of things on babies or adults:
- Dry Skin
- Eczema
- Cradle Cap
- Nappy Rash
- Sore Skin
- As a Massage Oil
- Lip Balm
- Hair Mask
- Make-up Remover
- And More!
We use it as a moisturiser for my toddler to treat any dry skin patches. She’s not been diagnosed with eczema but I know that’s what she has as it’s the same as my eldest (who has been to the doctor for her dry skin). She has dry patches on the back of her legs and arms and her belly. We use this beautiful coconut oil to hydrate and soothe her skin. It’s a lovely coconut oil and I love taking a little bit of time to massage it in well — as I can imagine this must feel quite nice for my baby girl. It smells lovely too and I love that it’s completely natural. It works much better than the prescription lotion that we have!
Our treatment is moisturising twice a day and using a mild steroid cream for any flare-ups. We currently use Cocobelle Baby as our daily moisturiser and are loving it.
You can buy Cocobelle Baby coconut oil here from their website or through Amazon.co.uk. One pot costs £12.99 and contains 250g of cold-pressed virgin coconut oil.

We were sent this product for this review. As always, all my reviews are 100% honest and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Do not use biological detergents to wash clothes, bedding and towels. Instead choose a detergent that has been formulated to be suitable for people with sensitive skin or eczema. My husband suffers quite badly, and when we spend a night away from home we always have to take a pillow case and towel from home for him to use, otherwise the harsh detergents used in hotel laundries can cause a flare-up.
drink plenty of water daily.
Use products that contain mostly water-binding ingredients and water trapping oils. My preferences include botanical oils that contain healing properties of their own: coconut, avocado, apricot, olive, sunflower oil, shea butter and jojoba oil.
Wash baby clothes, bedding, and blankets separately from the family’s laundry. Scented products can irritate x
For my daughter and me it has always been getting in the sun for short periods, with no suncream on (but careful not to burn of course). 10 mins a day really helps.
use a good quality non-bio detergenet
Don’t bath too often, as water drys skin out!
Washing regular, a sensitive cream plus drink lots of water
An oatmeal bath: I use a muslin bag (I just quickly made it from a couple of old muslins and some ribbon). Fill it with any kind of oatmeal, hand it over the hot tap when you’re running the bath so the water flows through. It really seems to work to soothe itchy, irritated skin.
Find the best cream that works for you and stick to it.
Leave skin uncovered as often as possible to avoid clothes rubbing
Moisturise
I always used an emulsifier on my children
Always keep skin moisturised
To not use any overpowering scented washing powders on clothes and bedding
Keep on top of Moisturising
My daughter uses coconut oil, but also aveeno cream. It usually gets better when the weather is warm.
Hanging a sock of oatmeal into a warm bath (tightly tied at the top!). The liquid is really soothing on dry and damaged skin, plus its squishy and fun to play with.
I think drink lots of water and use good products
try to keep the dry area out of water as much as possible.
Using creams with natural ingredients like calendula, which are really soothing :)
lots of water and sudocrem
Sudocrem works a treat for me
Keep skin moisturised & not too dry. Use a natural based cream without fragrance to avoid irritation
I really like Lush Dream Cream. It’s the only thing I find that hasn’t irritated the small patches of eczema I get.
drink lots of water and use coconut oil or aloe vera
cover up in the sun
For my daughter I make sure and I keep her skin moisturised. I do use some vaseline before she gets in the bath as it helps to stop itching. Baby powder helps when she sweats a lot.
Drink more water
Never wash your face under the shower/ with bath water. It tends to be too hot and contains products not made for delicate facial skin.
Watch what suncream you use my little girls skin flares up when I use them I’ve had to buy different ones
Less washing the area as it causes irritation – let the skin have it’s natural oils. Putting something on can sometimes make skin worse
myself and my son get eczema and the best thing is to keep moisturising so skin does not get too dry and using any harsh soaps of any kind
i find fragrance free baby wipes are good for freshening up rather than standard wipes, and i use cool boiled water to wash in as normal tap water is too harsh for me
Drink more water and moisturize.
I have eczema and find its good to moisturise
Drinking lots of water and using perfume free moisturisers.
Plenty of fluids :)
Moisturise regularly
i find a few drops of canomile lotion at bathtime stop itching
dry/cracked knees and elbows can be relieved by rubbing half an orange on them.
Avoid getting dehydrated by drinking plenty of water.
Don’t use products that are too harsh
fish oil :)
fish oil
Don’t use strong scented products
Use products that are gentle on the skin such as sanex
I’ve moisturised my face with coconut oil for a few years now, anything else makes my skin red and sore!
no highly scented products just gentle and as natural as possible
My tip is that i use lots of E45 numerous times a day on the skin.
Flower of sulphur is amazing xx
Constantly moisturise. Don’t scratch it. Use very gentle and unscented detergents.
