Sawdust And Rainbows Tracing Boards Review – From Luna & Cash

You might have spotted these in my post about ways to help your preschooler prepare for school the other day. They are tracing boards by Sawdust And Rainbows from Luna & Cash and they’re such a good idea!

The concept of these boards is that they provide a way for children to learn to form letters and numbers in preparation of putting pen to paper.

Your child can use their fingers to trace the numbers and letters and really feel their shape or you can use a tool like a wooden chopstick (we do this a lot as it’s like a pencil) or fill the letters with small items like pebbles, beads, sand or rice for creative activities.

The Sawdust And Rainbows Alphabet Tracing Board features both upper and lowercase letters and is a great tool to use to learn the letters.

The Sawdust And Rainbows Numbers Tracing Board features numbers 1-10 in a large size. This is the perfect board to start with and I’m sure quite young children would enjoy this one!

I’m using these chunky wooden boards with my 3.5 year old as she’s the one to start school next and she loves practising the letters and numbers and it’s great that you can do it over and over again on these beautiful boards, handcrafted with FSC certified wood and created by Sawdust and Rainbows founder Rosie in Northern Ireland.
