Sönd Replenishing Face Oil & Revitalising Face Serum Review

Sönd is a skincare brand for sensitive skin that I’ve been wanting to try for a long time. I have combination skin that can get sensitive sometimes, especially in the winter.

The two products by Sönd that I’m using currently are the Replenishing Face Oil and the Revitalising Face Serum. I’m a huge fan of using serums and oils during the colder part of the year as I find they really help nourish my skin and lock in moisture so well.

Sönd Replenishing Face Oil

The paraben-free Replenishing Face Oil (£34.00/30ml) contains just five ingredients (Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric triglceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin) and is suitable for sensitive skin. It nourishes dry and dehydrated skin and helps soothe irritated skin. It helps restore suppleness and adds radiance for a glowing and healthy complexion.

The silica and coconut oil helps soften your skin and replenishes any lost moisture. The intense hydration helps soften fine lines and helps keep new ones at bay too as elstaticity and firmness of the skin are improved.

I use the oil at night before going to bed and apply 3-4 drops onto cleansed skin — face, neck and décolletage. It sinks in nicely and is not greasy. It hydrates very well and my skin feels plump and nourished in the morning. You can use it after your serum and moisturiser if needed. For me, the oil on its own is enough.

Sönd Revitalising Face Serum

The Revitalising Face Serum (£42.00/30ml) is a lovely serum that helps make your skin smoother and firmer. The paraben-free formula leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. It only contains 10 ingredients and is suitable for sensitive skin.

The product works by delivering silica and sodium hyaluronate to the skin. It has a calming effect on skin and helps improve elasticity for younger looking and feeling skin.

I use this serum in the mornings and apply 2-3 drops all over my face, neck and décolletage. It feels so nice on my skin — refreshing and nourishing.
